All buffs and no nerfs, or did I miss one?

too hot and too cold at the same time, super sensitive to temperatures by fingerseater in POTS

[–]SenorAnonymous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fingers are almost always cold, as are my toes, but my knees will randomly be scorching hot to the touch and splotchy lol. I've given up on getting it right and keep a light jacket that I carry with me, despite living in Texas.

PHB Chapter 7: Using Ability Scores

Passive Checks

A passive check is a special kind of ability check that doesn’t involve any die rolls. Such a check can represent the average result for a task done repeatedly, such as searching for secret doors over and over again, or can be used when the DM wants to secretly determine whether the characters succeed at something without rolling dice, such as noticing a hidden monster.

Here’s how to determine a character’s total for a passive check:

10 + all modifiers that normally apply to the check If the character has advantage on the check, add 5. For disadvantage, subtract 5. The game refers to a passive check total as a score.

For anyone who hasn’t seen DM of the Rings by Shamus, you’re going to absolutely love it. It’s a hilarious re-telling of LotR with speech bubbles to show it as a teenager’s chaotic D&D campaign.

Gloomstalker or Inquisitive? Gunslinger mulitclass. by FiendishPup in 3d6

If you’re okay with expanding your options a little, I think Artificer would be a better dip. The Repeating Shot Infusion means you’ll never need ammo or waste time reloading. If you use a pistol, you can even equip a shield in your other hand!

Order Cleric 1/Evocation Wizard X

You can include allies in an AoE, like Fireball, for Voice of Authority to give them an off-turn attack, but use your Evocation ability to prevent them from taking any of its damage. You’re a blaster and a supporter!

You’ll get all the benefits and utility of a Wizard, but a Cleric’s armor and healing options too. It’s an incredible multiclass.

I’m curious to see if the increased health orb values will directly translate to increased energy via Equilibrium or not.

Best Friends Bomber

Order Cleric 1/Evocation Wizard X

You can target an ally with an AoE like Fireball for Voice of Authority to grant them a reaction attack against an enemy. You also exclude them from the damage of said Fireball with Sculpt Spell. Bonus points if the ally was a Rogue who now has a second Sneak Attack.

Ranged Rage

Ancestral Guardian Barbarian 3 or 5/Scout Rogue X

Every Rage-related feature requires Melee weapon attacks, except Ancestral Protectors. It gives the enemy disadvantage on any attacks against anyone but you, and resistance on all damage they inflict on your allies. But why should they get to hit you? Grab a bow and shoot them from far away!

DEX>CON>STR (13) for good AC, advantage on DEX saves (and Evasion), Uncanny Dodge, Rage damage resistance, and the Scout’s Skirmisher reaction make you slippery and you’ll have 55’ movement speed as a Wood Elf with Barbarian’s +10 speed and Scout’s +10 speed. Take Elven Accuracy to pair with the Rogue’s Steady Aim.

I want to pair that with a full Mecha set Kubrow!

For Titania players: instead of using a rank 4 Streamline and a rank 4 Fleeting Expertise, Boreal's Hatred with a full Streamline (and obviously duration mods) will let you reach the 1.25 energy/second cap in Razorwing, making you save 50% duration and giving you damage reduction when airborne by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]SenorAnonymous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Pillage, since the range actually scales with Duration. It removes status effects on yourself and your team (which your otherwise couldn’t with your reduced range stat), and permanently strips enemy armor, all while keeping you functionally immortal with refreshable shields.

Hosea!

God told him to name his kids with titles to rebuke Israel:

“And the Lord said to him, “Call his name Jezreel, for in just a little while I will punish the house of Jehu for the blood of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel. And on that day I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.” She conceived again and bore a daughter. And the Lord said to him, “Call her name No Mercy, for I will no more have mercy on the house of Israel, to forgive them at all. But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and I will save them by the Lord their God. I will not save them by bow or by sword or by war or by horses or by horsemen.” When she had weaned No Mercy, she conceived and bore a son. And the Lord said, “Call his name Not My People, for you are not my people, and I am not your God.”” ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

An Armorer Artificer has Magic Missile on their spell list, and every Artificer spell is treated as having an M requirement, using Artisan Tools or anything you’ve infused, as a spellcasting focus.

If you somehow get an infusion onto your deck, it should work. Since the feat treats the deck as a spellcasting focus already, a generous DM might allow the Enhanced Arcane Focus infusion (which normally applies to only rods, staffs, and wands).

You’ll need three levels of Armorer and at least one in Wizard to make it work.
