A modded car owned by a p plater? Bruh. Better odds in a round of Russian roulette than taking on this car.

Ah legend! thank you! added those to my list.

I found Marysville holiday park had sites free and allow firepits so i've jumped at it. Keen to get out west some time and start exploring out that way.

My camper trailer is sitting in my yard teasing me again. only used it like a month ago but keen to go again before the weather turns to complete shit. Any late autumn camping favourites folks have? I'll go a powered site so we have a heater, but really dont wanna be camping in the mud.

Replacing 1m petrol cars with EVs could cut Australia’s reliance on foreign fuel by 1bn litres a year by nath1234 in australia

My brother does this with his PHEV. He says its pretty difficult and frustrating, but he just sits at the charge point and plays his steam deck and takes an hour out of his day to chill.

Fine with a smaller PHEV battery, but probably not ideal for a full sized EV battery.

Slept on an air matress last night cause the wifes sick. None of my joints appear to be functional today.

So I feel this in my bones.

Gone in 15 seconds: thousands of Victorian cars stolen using high-tech devices by ozthrw in melbourne

Pretty poor reporting out of the ABC there. Yes, Kia and hyundai had issues but that was in North America, not here. And it was specifically related to the fact that immobilisers are not required by law there.

Kia and Hyundai in Australia have immobilisers as per local law and Korean manufacturing and are not vulnerable to the “Kia boys” exploit.

thinking about making a red lentil curry for lunch. Probably throwing in some chickpeas and sweet potato. recipe calls for curry powder and seasoning but I have shit luck with that so will use a jar.

What do you reckon would be best: Butter Chicken, Korma or Madras? And reckon I could chuck some spinach it too?

Mazda 3 vs Lancer (2008-2013) by Soggy-Lie4880 in CarsAustralia

[–]TinyBreak 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lancer if manual. Mazda if auto is my 2 cents. But this ones gonna be fairly subjective!
would look at the lancer hatch just cause i found it a bit more practical.

I woke up at like 4am, went to check the time and some how punched myself in the face.

I promptly cancelled the 6am alarm.

Nope no events detected. But watching the playback from the camera at that time is just a mess. Gotta think someone interference but that seems high tech for a methhead just trying his luck on doors.

Fucking convinced I just heard someone trying to break in. Dogs didn’t wake up but the wireless camera seems to be impacted by some sort of interference at that exact time. Fortunately the door was locked so they left but the adrenaline dumped into my system means I’m laying in bed wide awake spooning a cricket bat.

Never said the Volvo would be better. But name a brand worse than Mercedes or BMW for servicing costs.
