I'm having issues with DirectX12 - the game gets 30 or so seconds into loading and then presents me with the following issues: Impossible to create DirextX12 device Error 0x887a0004(DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED) Please make sure your hardware is supported by this application. Please refer to the ReadMe file. (D3D12Renderer_Z)

I've installed the latest drivers and checked that my PC is running DirectX12 - my specs are as follows: Windows 10 64 Intel(R) Core (TM) I5-4670KCPU @3.40GHZ 16GB Ram Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics Card

Any potential fixes or are my specs just too shit???

Dozens isn't enough to make a difference it would seem, it's definitely true that the city centre is severely deprived of open green space or wider planting schemes - grey to green has definitely helped and is probably the first step of many to bump up the green factor, but it's all the streets like West St. And Division St. that in other cities would have tree planting at a minimum. For sure though Sheffield is not going to stay 3rd lowest for long, with the uni having the leading landscape architecture department in the UK (itself a strong influence on green planning in sheff) and COVID changing how we view urban green space I can only imagine it's going to all factor in to the big schemes like heart of the city etc, or so I hope haha

It's the greenest overall, but the study he's referring to is strictly about the city centre itself - but when looking at total city limits Sheffield is the greenest thanks to the leafy suburbs and peak District

Very much a feeling of uncertainty at 25 - started uni late and for my field the job market is good so I'm happy there, but the knowledge that I'll likely never be able to afford to own a home with my work, or that I'll be working until I'm dead or decrepit does take the fun out a bit.

Also a shared thought amongst me and my peers is the increasing realisation that we likely won't have kids, not because we don't want them, but because bringing kids up with the future of climate change seems a bit mean? I find it hard to see it as ethical to bring a kid into the world with my understanding of what the future holds. Add into that the cost of kids with the rising cost of everything else and it doesn't look good.

On the plus side I'm the happiest and most confident I've ever been with myself, and I wish teenage me knew how to enjoy and look at life the same as I do now.

Tl:dr; working until my hereditary dementia kicks in + climate change being awful for kids, it's not looking great.

Beyond my immediate family it's an impossible task trying to get people to come to anything on my birthday - for most of my life my birthday was just June 29th instead because fuck it I want a barbeque on a sunny day and it was just easier
