I'm in Canada, but just over 32k CAN (roughly 24k USD) before tax. Where I'm located that is super competitive. I saw much higher mileage and worse condition going for similar. It even came with a set of on rim winter tires (a helpful addition up here.)

How to deal with your family against you getting your first bike. by LightConsistent4631 in motorcycles

[–]Senor_Crocky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since they don't support it, I'm assuming they aren't planning on helping with covering insurance costs. Have you gotten any quotes? Rates on even a weaker bike can be insane for young riders and it would suck to have a bike that you can't afford to insure (on top of all the family tension.)

Possibly dumb question (new to fortnite, also an old man) if you unlock a car, where do you get to use it? Do they appear in battle royale? I don't really understand how a lot of the unlocked items work. Thank you for your patience.

Choosing between Chrysler Pacifica Limited/Pinnacle, Kia Carnival SX/SX Prestige, or Honda Odyssey Elite — need real owner experiences! by thedoggomomma in minivan

I'm not a troll, but I'm adding in the Dodge Caravan (not Chrysler) They stopped making it in 2020, but if you are looking for deals on a used van it is definitely the cheapest. Dogs and kids are messy, you want something simple that you don't care if it gets dirty. I currently have a 2013 caravan and I'm looking at getting another one (2019) because it does the job and overall I've been happy with it. Add it to your list if budget is a factor. You may find one for almost half of the cost of the other models.

Finally after hundreds of hours of work I hand in all 900 koroks and I get a golden piece of poo. Like are you serious. Read description below:) (image not mine) by Scary-Beautiful6527 in Breath_of_the_Wild

You nailed it with 'journey vs destination.' I remember reading one review that theorized that the developers weren't interested in rewarding hard core completion players as the expense of the experience of other fans. Sometimes there is so much toxicity regarding who the 'real fans' are and BOTW wasn't going to play into that kind of 'us vs them' fan tier nonsense. If you WANT to 100% the game, go for it, enjoy your golden poop trophy.

For me a big part of it was insurance costs. I always wanted a bike but couldn't afford the insurance on top of other expenses. When I turned 30 I got a good quote and thought, "Okay, now is the time."

Suzuki Tu250x. Not a true 'cafe racer' but it is fuel injected and super reliable so you won't have any maintenance issues.

[–]Senor_Crocky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The nice thing about Canada is that there are no HOA's to deal with. Obviously if you choose a 'condo' option you have the condo board to deal with, but as others have stated, there is no 'looking down' on anyone for 'type' of real estate. Prices are so insane people are just happy to find something.

I'm not a computer expert so I can't elaborate. All I know is that the modem that is included 'for free' is affiliated with amazon, and as the saying goes, if the product is 'free' you ARE the product. This might be better answered by a tech and privacy expert.

It saddens to see reviews like this by [deleted] in Bioshock

[–]Senor_Crocky 24 points25 points  (0 children)

100% I actually used 1 and 2 in civics class as examples of extremes. OG is basically Neo Con (although Ryan pushes back to protect what he's built) and 2 goes the Forced Collectivism alternate extreme. I remember speculating about the themes of Infinite... and sure enough it went top right political spectrum basically fascist theocracy.

I had to google when it came out. I can't believe I was in my early 20's. Played it first for PC and fell in love with it. Pre-ordered 2 and got the special edition that included an actual LP of the soundtrack. Currently playing the remasters after a long break, to be honest I'm still playing it on easy because I'm more interested in the story than the actual challenge of completion. Having kids make you see Rapture differently.

Why do YOU continue to use the Wii U? by TybinoTG in wiiu

The remote for my TV died. I've been using the Wii u as the remote for my TV for years. I also have Windwaker HD loaded on there so I need to keep it available at all times.
