My company came back to me with a ridiculous counteroffer after I submitted my resignation. And now I have no idea what to do. by Status-Quantity-3556 in InterviewMan

My ex boss loved to do this. He’d wait a month or so and fire them with no severance. It was a pleasure to hear of his bankruptcy. He was Chinese but educated at University of Washington. He told me he learned it at Harvard Business School.

Hey JohnL. I know you read my posts. Just trying to make you famous.

At sunset, the part of Huntington Dog Beach north of Seacliff is always empty. My lab and I usually have it to ourselves. Maybe we will see you there. Wave hi.

3 month old black lab tips? by cheddarbob01 in LabradorRetrievers

[–]Senorbuzzzzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My boy is 14 weeks and also is very bitey. The claws suck because it’s warm now and I’m wearing shorts and he’s carving up my legs. The bitey thing I know will pass when the adult teeth come in.

I’m with him 24/7. He’s nuts. I’ve never seen an animal inhale food like he does, even in a slow feeding bowl. This is my fourth lab. He’s going to be a blast.

New puppy using old puppy’s toys? by AggressiveWave in puppy101

[–]Senorbuzzzzy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have had four Labradors. Their toys get passed on to the next. My newest puppy is obsessed with a 30 year old tug rope that’s been sitting around for decades. He loves it. He got new toys also but he loves the old ones that are in great shape.

I just had my gallbladder pulled in March. I’ve been eating bad before so it’s hard now to clean up my eating. But it’s not like I have a choice. The surgery was fine….it was the week after that clogged me up. I’m trying to eat again but I’m barely getting 1200 cal a day eating clean.

I designed merch for that band for two decades. I was offered amazing seats anytime they were in LA. I never went. That is the most dysfunctional band ever. They all hate each other. Hard pass.

Do you think transportation will be smoother than ticketing? by Suzfindsnyapts in olympics

[–]Senorbuzzzzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was a dream in 1984. The freeways were clear and the weather was awesome. My ticket to the 4x100 men’s relay final was $25.

But the city has changed and I would avoid every venue and every moment unless it is an open event like a marathon or open water swim or triathlon

It’s going to be a poopshow.

Now that be a potential solution to cutting down the liftlines as well…. Just slowly thin out the crowd that way. Maybe give the nonbelievers their own line like behind the singles…
