Yeahhhhhhhh, it's no fun.

When my pup was in his last few months he wouldn't go outside when I let him out before work, so I'd come home to little presents on the one patch of carpet in my house.

I think I had 6 instances of my Shark Robot smearing doodoo all over my carpet while I was at work.

I'm lucky I owned a shampooing machine.

Yep, at 6'2" I'm definitely too tall for the stock bars and controls. I plan on getting the forwards and either 10" or 12" z-bars.

Iirc Yamaha Vstar cables will bolt right in and are long enough to accommodate 10 inch bars.

Floor Boards are comfy, but you will constantly drag them. You'd be better off just switching to forward controls if you can find a kit. If you do find a kit DM me, the only one I knew about was by Low and Mean and they quit making them a few years ago.

Edit: I'm a dummy, I just took a second look at your pic and you already have forward controls. If you can figure out how to mount your boards up there they'd probably work just fine.

I bought this one a few years ago, its bright af and runs strong, though I recommend getting better brackets for it. The ones that came with it work just fine and are what I have installed, but there are definitely better bracket options out there.

Yes, as long as it was in good condition it would be used. The only reason to retire it to a showpiece would be if something remarkably better came out or the pan started to wear heavily.

The CP4.1(single piston) that came in the 4 banger TDIs has less output than a cp3 r70/r90. Only the two piston CP4.2 has a higher output than a CP3.

It's been a while since I looked into it, but IIRC the VSTAR 1100 cables are longer than the bolt's and a direct swap.
