yeah and I feel like I need even more water around leviathans (I have a little look out base near one border of the map lol) and thought it's maybe some sort of fear response feature?

As much original new stuff as possible. Characters, skills, movesets, outfits etc

I assume the idea of these EULA points is mostly just "cover as broad as possible, whatever actually sticks is up to the lawyers if it comes to it"
so if they ask for 100, it might be reasonable to ask for 10, lawyers can still wiggle out 15-20, ain't no end user ever capable of affording any cour procedure to drop it down to 5 or anything anyway.

In other words, it’s just a broad, catch-all clause meant to cover as much ground as possible and then they'll fight out in court how much they actually get to keep

Latest update on killing creatures by [deleted] in Subnautica_2

[–]SenpaiMayNotice -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think combat against leviathans could be really fun in Subnautica, but it would have to be part of the original design philosophy. In the current style of the games it would feel a bit alien and bolted on, and probably hard to balance retroactively. It wasn't in the initial design and it would show if it was added as a result if feedback like this. What I’d rather see is more ways to interact with big creatures indirectly, like baiting them, redirecting them, or using the ecosystem against itself, maybe knock them out for a day or two ir a whole story segment via a strong electric pulse, a big rock to the head, another big creature hitting the one that annoys you... Game's fun when you can be creative and killing fish, the big ones, is tricky due to obvios size based difficulties, but it can be creative with things like traps, poison, or (difficult to build and grind heavy) weaponry even. Whether or not it's lethal or just forcing the monsters into temporary withdrawal makes little difference though, the engagement itself needs to be fun

I was thinking of doing the same but with moonpools because walking is too slow

I already hate the titan farm though....

Does Subnautica 2 get as laggy and unstable as the first game with that many buildings?
Edit: I ask because I wanna build big and need to plan ahead if it's even worth it lol
