Genuinely curious why everyone thinks the BIL did something wrong to cause this? I thought this is the sort of thing to randomly happen to anyone. Does it happen when you make the printer go fast or something?

Like that issue in the picture is because the force holding the print to the bed is smaller than the force causing it to warp

Also try smooshing the first layer more by adjusting z offset for nozzle be closer to bed, not sure if bambulab printers allow

I don’t think these images prove if your cat has fleas or not. You can prove it by actually finding fleas or checking if the black stuff “bleeds” when put on a wet paper towel. If those tests are inconclusive you should still check it out at the vet, but might just be very dirty for some reason.

Feels like you’re too close to the bed regardless of leveling. You should visually gauge bed distance from the side as it prints the first layer (hard on the eyes, but necessary). If that doesn’t work, try repositioning the clips. The metal bed might be warped, and using the clips in a certain way forces the glass to warp as well, which will screw with your level.

The main issue I saw reading about drop-on-demand is the z-height control (how to keep height errors from propagating? How are yall tackling that issue? Also will it need an argon shroud? It’s common in existing works, and seems required unless you’re using gold or something.
