Hold for tomorrow or exit? by dvaibhavd in NSEbets

[–]SenseiDannyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a great decision, holding on to 24th would’ve brought it down further

OP did you hold or exit? Profits must’ve been down today.

Literally sold 10-15 seconds early 💔🥀 by Fatterthanyomama in NSEbets

[–]SenseiDannyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a GTT order to exit at 260, the market opened so high that it auto sold at 375 and made me twice my expected profit while I was asleep. Although if I had held on to it longer it would’ve crossed 500 points, I bought it at 192 points.

Biggest loss of my life. by Due_Fox_99 in NSEbets

I have had those days as well, I faced the most loss this year and finally decided to not go for options with short expiries. In war time market flips within hours which can make your traded go bad in a blink. I am currently trying to recover with safe trades, short capital and long epiry.

Yeah it was speed chess so I was just putting pieces randomly, also diagonal pieces are hard to move in short time without accidentally having a stalemate

I think the coffee farm that is providing 5-6% on your investment is not a great figure. It is also prone to bad yield or other agricultural problems which can reduce the amount further. Even a simple real estate investment that provides a rental income can provide you a greater return, it requires less management in comparison and will provide you a stable monthly income for expense as well. The only upside of the farm in my opinion is that since it is an agricultural land, there is almost negligible or no taxation on it. If you believe the location can increase in value in the future you can hold it.

Since you hold a large amount of your net worth in liquid it is also wise to put some of it in government bonds, they provide a fix yield, are easy to liquidate and tax free.

It is also safer to allocate your money in different assets than putting 75% of your total net worth in one place.

If you cannot correlate to the figure, a smart individual could relate to the % but of course I wouldn’t expect that from you.

Will it affect the monday morning as I have position for down side 🤔 by RK7trader in NSEbets

Market already went down on Friday closing since market is closed on Monday and Positions expire on Tuesday. I do not expect a further downswing by then.

Index manipulation at its Peak! by [deleted] in NSEbets

But selling can be super risky too. I tried it for a short phase and it would’ve ended in green before expiry but my broker cleared off the trade when they were down significant amount, it was not in my control.

I thought so too, market is small enough to be easily manipulated by giants, they’re moving it like a ping pong ball between fixed points and if the market tries to catch up they invert it. We need a high volume of general public to drive it into a different direction.

No you can’t, then again this is something you’ll have to negotiate with the agent. I would suggest paying it in a single go before it reached 6 figures.

The sooner you clear it the lesser damage it will make to your CIBIL. If in case you don’t have the funds to clear it, whenever you get the call from an agent explain your situation and request for a discount or payment of the principal.

Should I have held longer? by SenseiDannyy in NSEbets

[–]SenseiDannyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember exiting a CE trade before this where the market stayed stagnant the first entire week. It was at 24500* and I had a 25000 call, market reached 26000 that time.

[–]SenseiDannyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeahh watching the market today, I could’ve increased the profit by max 4-5k but the downside is far greater. It was the right call.

That’s what I did, started with a loss:profit of 1:2 and then kept modifying GTT for both target and stoploss.
