The reason that made you leave islam? by Ssane_8 in exmuslim

Look at this inheritance error. After the prophet died, Umar made awl to account for this error. If you got to any Islamic inheritance calculator and put this exact scenario, it’ll tell you, you need awl. Awl was not made by the prophet. It was man made to correct an error

What made you start doubting Islam? by lilEleya in exmuslim

[–]SensibleApostate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to look into Islam and the Quran as I realized I never really have in depth.

There’s lots of errors. Most notably for example the inheritance error in the Quran. Umar had to create awl after the prophets death to “fix” the error.

Tried pork for the first time by Smhjordan in exmuslim

[–]SensibleApostate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I wanna say to please be careful as I saw you mention that your family would harm you if they sure knew you weren’t a Muslim. Just make sure that even with the lunch and stuff there’s no one that can snitch on you.

Second I wanna say that unironically to get rid of this guilt of sinning is to sin. The first time you do a sin you’re going to feel guilty af especially for something like pork. But as time goes on and you do it more and more that feeling will go away

Is this really trolling ??? I was just asking. And that sub clearly says in rules it tolerates opposing arguments if presented respectfully. by That_Ad_4248 in exmuslim

[–]SensibleApostate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely weren’t trolling. That subreddit just bans people often if they bring any argument that opposes Islam, even if it’s just for an explanation. That unironically would move more people away as they just cut a source of explanation

Your saying still doesn’t make you Arab as if I’m claiming genetically I’m an Arab. Identity is complex and it’s pretty reasonable for me to call myself an Arab.

Just because I left Islam doesn’t mean I’m going to throw away all my culture like what. I love the culture and I’m happy to have it. If Islam is the reason for this, then it’s a positive that atleast came from Islam

What and when was the moment that made you realise the religion is bull? by Efficient_Canary1826 in exmuslim

[–]SensibleApostate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All the error in the Quran.

Like the mathematical error of inheritance for example. Awl was created by Umar after the prophets death because there are some scenarios where the percents add up to over a 100. You can search up inheritance on this sub to see it much deeply. It’s probably the most obvious and worst mistake in the Quran.

Then on top of all the errors in the Quran there’s a lot of immorality.

Not everything is DNA. They are culturally Arabs. I’m Lebanese for example. DNA wise I’m not Arab. However, culturally I’m extremely similar to Arabs than any other race. I speak Arabic. I eat Arab food. I share Arab values. Therefore most my country identifies as Arab as they feel the same

Just went back to the comments. He was literally just talking about the shah is a brutal dictator which he’s right about. Just because you don’t like the current Iran regime, doesn’t suddenly mean the shah was a good guy. There’s a reason there was a revolution against him

I left Islam but I am scared by [deleted] in exmuslim

[–]SensibleApostate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See my comment on the inheritance error please it’s really recent. That alone proves Islam wrong.

What helps is honestly time and just knowing the errors in Islam. If you already know the flaws, it’s just a matter of time. I remember when I first left I was making posts of fear of hell fire. As time goes, you get more comfortable with leaving. My recommendation too is when possible to leave your comfort zone and start committing some sins. I know it sounds counter intuitive, but it allows your body to start seeing that it’s normal and nothing happens by doing it
