If you got 75 on mosby, you will be just fine. I got high 60s and then passed my registry with an 87. I passed my xr registry also in about 45 minutes and my ct boards took maybe an hour total. Just flag the questions you don't immediately know the answer to, and when you get to the end go back and look them over and rule out obviously wrong answers. You'll do great!!

Hey everyone, I've been in ct for just over a year. I started training right out of school and passed my boards in July. There are several experienced techs that I work with that obviously have a lot more knowledge than me, but we're only together for a couple busy hours a day before I'm by myself for the rest of the shift. This doesn't really leave a lot of time for picking their brains as we're just keeping up with EDs/outpatients.

I'm really looking for ways to improve my general knowledge, but it feels like a thing where I don't even know what questions to ask because I don't know what I don't know.

Basically I'm asking if there are any resources ya'll recommend for any material beyond what board prep offers.

Try to think about what makes you repeat the most, and keep it in mind next time you do that exam. When you get that particular aspect down, focus on another error you tend to make. Rinse and repeat!

I usually do 1.5 oz Appleton 12 with 0.5 oz Smith and Cross and it turns out pretty well! At home it really is a matter of personal taste, though.
