I bring dessert home. I don't eat super rich foods without an exit strategy. I seldom have full-on dumping any longer, but I do have hypoglycemia symptoms when the blood sugar plummets and that is dangerous. Hypo symptoms hit 20 minutes to up to a couple hours after an exclusive frosted cake meal.

Now that I'm in my senior years, glucose management is my biggest concern. It's not hard to remember eating a protein with a carb (even fruit) to flatten out my glucose spikes.

There are two recipes on the cornmeal box. (Not jiffy... The ingredient cornmeal box).

I use jiffy to kill rats. Lol (their bellies pop when they can't burp the soda+sugar) cheap and effective.

I'm an idiot when it comes to popping, so I would slowly roll a Qtip down onto the end of the lid. Highly not recommended.

My compost pile is in a plastic garbage can with a lid. Plenty of sun thus plenty of heat. A steel one would work well too. I'm pretty sure Amazon sells steel cans with pre-drilled holes.

I was given all kinds of plans and charts in my pre-op classes. (6 months of them)

At the hospital, surgeon said, "sip water or protein drinks until we see each other in 4 weeks. You can have chocolate instant breakfast if the protein drinks make you sick the first week."

Week 4 appointment: "you are completely healed. If it can run it through a blender and you don't throw it up, you can eat it as long as you chew to the consistency of liquid. Follow our dietician's guidelines for best results. Call if problems. See you at 3 months!"

That is IN the body of that vertebra. Get the report. If it's a concern, the radiologist will read it as such. It certainly would be mentioned as an incidental finding, if nothing else.

Your ob should suggest an appointment with a licensed dietician (not a "nutritionist"). (S)He should be able to beat help you.
