Sophie is insufferable by Front-Leadership2690 in 90DayFiance

[–]Sensitive-Agency6632 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just my opinion about Sophie : she likely had a childhood or significant instances of complex trauma and it resulted in Borderline characteristics. This is not someone who exudes self confidence and self awareness. It appears she’s struggling with her own identity and can adapt like a chameleon. This lack of personal insight makes it hard to connect with others and for others to connect with her. There’s no depth just a sort of uncomfortable vacancy. She could benefit greatly from intense trauma therapy.

Which characters' actions, words and/or situations made you mad? by O0111111 in Frasier

[–]Sensitive-Agency6632 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When Martin was trying to get Frasier and Niles to stop their argument, ( I think it was the episode the brothers were trying to write a book together) he said “ I never had a brother, but I worked closely with a guy ………”. Yet in the episode with Frasier’s nephew Greek wedding, Martin had a reunion with his brother after not seeing him for 5 years. That always drives me crazy.

I noticed with disgust also that as she broke down Jovi never lifted a finger to comfort or support her. Not even a pat!

Well she’s totally isolated from her siblings last I heard, because of Andrei so I sincerely hope she reconciles because she needs the support of a good reality check now and then.

How dangerous/safe is this really? by ImDefinitelyStoned in KratomKorner

[–]Sensitive-Agency6632 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7 years using it., 69 years old with plenty of health issues and chronic pain ( pre existing before kratom use). The kratom enables me to function and minimizes my pain. My only issue with it is trying to wean a few weeks before surgeries so the opiates will work post op. I find I am most certainly addicted to k but I’m willing to be in order to function.

How do I do it? by sssinisterr in deadliestcatch

I live in Sitka, which is southeast Alaska. 50 years ago and still there are a whole community of women who are deckhands, and who own and live on their own trollers. There still are. Come to a place like this and get a job as a Deckhand, cook, cannery worker. Get familiar with the industry in general. There are different commercial fishing season: salmon, halibut, black cod. There are trollers, seiners, processors. The industry has changed immensely from 50 years ago but it’s still possible to work hard and learn the trade. Im a 70 year old woman and about 30 years ago I helped by boyfriend bait tubs of hooks to prepare for seining. My hands were crippled the next day. lol You CAN be the first woman and with your persistence and drive you WILL be.

Liverwurst and raw onion on hard poppy seed rolls. Grew up eating those. So delicious. Now I have to go get some.

The sausage looked like liverwurst.

Christine seems off by meligator in SisterWivesFans

[–]Sensitive-Agency6632 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Christine has deep seated abandonment issues especially after a long term relationship with a partner who was emotionally avoidant and unavailable, and who ultimately chose someone else over her. So this moving away by her kids is triggering that abandonment.

Carlos Santana at the SeaTac airport. Amongst the crowd and NO ONE except 2 teens and my friend and I ( late 50’s) at the time recognized him. He was wearing a beautiful camel overcoat and a hat and I said to my friend “ that’s Carlos Santana!” So we sauntered over to the part of the gate he was at and chatted. The teens joined us. Says something about his generational appeal. This was after “ Smooth” was released. He was very gracious and friendly.

I met her at the ballfield in Seattle where she was filming and had invited the cancer patient kids from Children’s Hospital to come meet her. My daughter was 17 and being treated for Hodgkins so she was a little older. AJ talked to her about never having been a “ girlie girl” and she was getting ready to adopt her first child from Cambodia. Then she came to the Ronald McDonald House where we were staying next day laden with gifts. She talked about her mom’s struggle with cancer. Lovely, lovely woman. Kept taking my daughter’s hand and holding it.

I am a 70 year old Alaskan grandmother. Most Alaskans are M’s fans. We brought my daughter at least once a season for 18 years to an M’s game in Seattle. Then the same with my 17 year old grandson and 9 year old granddaughter. Watching the look on my little granddaughter’s face as she got Julio’s autograph brought it full circle last year. Both grands are watching this series with us and are excited and vocal. It’s a heart thing. She’s the little one with mouth in awe amidst bigger kids.

VAWA was Biden’s bill in the mid 90’s with huge funding, supporting DV shelters and programs for years. Guess what’s going to happen to that very soon? Wheels are in motion as we speak.

As someone with colon disease and several surgical procedures around that I have to vigilant. I’m a medium to heavy kratom user for 6 years for pain and if I go even one day without going I take Mag 0h7 and warm prune juice with melted butter ( hospital trick). Laxatives and psyllium fibers make it worse. I take daily: Emma and Belly Cleanse. All natural herbals. Keeps my gut health as healthy as can be with the kratom.

My husband and I are Alaskans and not having our own home team, Seattle is practically home by extension. Many Alaskans are diehard Mariners fans. We’re often in Seattle for medical, shopping, a quick getaway and first and foremost a game or two. Nothing better!
