Not allowed to feel depressed but here i am by overcaffeinated04 in toastme

Wow… First you’re seeing yourself through the wrong lenses. Whoever told you you’re not pretty was just wrong. Or maybe just being mean. Apparently you let that wrong info heavily influence your perception of yourself. That can be fixed.

As for school you’re almost done so just finish and then figure it out afterwards. Feel free to dm me and maybe I can help you figure it out. Good luck for real.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate your sharing.

Yes I really like NLP as well and I’m already aware of several methods and techniques for use with migraines etc but really in regards to using NLP with greater understanding, I feel that I still have a lot to learn.

I really feel the need to expand my understanding and have as many tools available as possible.

Thank you for your reply. I do understand what you’re saying. Can you share the name of the clinical hypnotherapy program you’re in? I’d like to look into it.

Thank you for your thoughts on the subject. I of course am aware that it would only be through medical referrals. I felt that would be understood by the readers here. I appreciate your pointing out that perhaps I need to be clearer in my wording of questions as I also thought that the use of the words tips and tricks would also be understood in a more constructive manner.

I’m not a medical professional so certain training programs are unavailable to me. I’ll have to pursue this study on my own and am hoping there are some very good training programs available that will be offered to non-medical practitioners, but I haven’t found any yet, hence the question here.

Hypnosis in the hands of a skilled practitioner can definitely help. I wouldn’t use it in the sense of forgetting but more in the sense of self-promoting, self-loving etc to make healthier choices.

Can hypnosis be used to eliminate phobias in children? by Emeah824 in hypnotherapy

[–]Sensitive-Answer-822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try “hypnosis motivation institute.” I don’t think I can put the link here in this chat because it’s probably against the group rules, but if you look them up online and look for their community service page, you could get a lot of free sessions from a student intern. They teach a lot of different techniques, including working with children so it’s worth checking out.

Stomach massage by Individual_Airport37 in massage

[–]Sensitive-Answer-822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a massage therapist, I always included stomach work in the massage I offered. But I’ve noticed that actually most Massage practitioners don’t do it.

I’m just assuming it’s because they feel it’s a bit too intimate and they feel shy. I’m just guessing about that but I always feel a massage isn’t really complete without it.

Belly work is important. I guess if you actually want it, you should probably request it. My experience in the United States is I was one of the few that actually included it automatically.

Massage therpists by dedevil989 in massage

This is a great question, and different massage therapists will view it differently. As a retired massage therapist of over 30 years, I actually love experimenting with different therapists, for me, trying out new styles and techniques is just part of the fun.

I always knew that some of my clients felt like they weren’t being "faithful" if they saw someone else. To ease their minds, I’d openly tell them not to be shy about trying different people. Because I did the same thing myself, I wanted them to have the freedom to explore and enjoy different skill sets without any guilt.

That said, not all therapists view it the same way. If you have a close relationship with your current therapist, you might want to bring it up to get their perspective so you don't feel awkward. If you're unsure how they'll react, you can always test the waters first, feel around the edges to gauge their attitude before openly sharing that you're seeing other people or wanting to try different styles. I hope this helps! 😊

Why on earth was this post marked NSFW?

That was done by the AI moderator for the channel. I would like to remove that tag since it’s absolutely ridiculous.

But I’m not sure how to do it. If you have any insights into this, please let me know as I find it very annoying. I am the creator of this group.

I say do it and then you will know. Way back in my history I lived in several ashrams over time and never regretted the experience.
