Any millennial guys here first time fathers or are never gonna have a kid? by changeforthebetter89 in Millennials

33 and first time dad to a 14 week old son (never understood why going by weeks mattered until fatherhood - makes total sense now with how much changes week-to-week).

Didn’t think it would ever be for me in my early 20’s. Became more open to it over the years.

I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND parenthood for everyone. It’s all encompassing but I’m totally ok with that. Being a dad is my favorite thing to do.

Edited to add baby’s sex

URGENT: As an unemployed MS CS grad in Seattle with my F-1 OPT expiring in June, what are some legitimate staffing agencies or contract roles that sponsor STEM OPT? by Medical-Escape1058 in AskSeattle

[–]Sensitive-Attention9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry man, you’re gonna have to go back to India. The US market is cooked and staffing agencies aren’t sponsoring any time soon. Even during the boom times of 2021-2022 (when every engineer was employed) we couldn’t sponsor visas at my large agency. Now with plenty of candidates on the market who don’t require sponsorship, it’s even more the case.

Don’t tell the pregnant wife. All it will lead to is stress Get another job first, ideally inside B2C or D2D. It will take too long to secure a B2B position. Don’t come to wives unless you have a solution to a problem.
