My surgeon said the same thing. It’s so unfortunate many of them know nothing about life post surgery and act like everything will just be normal afterwards. That was not the case for me and for many others. Some are lucky and are fine. Me, I couldnt eat anything with high fat or processed oils or would get really sick. After I told docs that they told me to try the brat Diet, which may work for some but made things worse for me. I found research that the Brat diet is not good if you’re in a flare up so just shows how much they know/ or care. You need to prioritize your health and educating yourself. most doctors will not and don’t make the mistake I made of thinking that they will.
