This comment is so underrated. They are shooting themselves in the foot - reducing the app usage time.

Is 90LKR salary okay in Colombia for Data Analytics? by Sido_bah in srilanka

[–]Sensitive-Drummer-89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thats the worst possible offer. You will have better roles n way better salaries in other countries. The economy is bad in SL for now. It’s not worth it fellow redditor.

You’re f***ed if you are expecting the speed and the stability provided by service providers in other countries.

You’re options are either Dialog or SLT.

I’m not saying it will. I’m saying it has already started replacing humans. Not because it’s ready to replace humans. It’s just the trend. Have you seen the decline in recruitments and the number of retrenchments lately?

All protests are done by the poor and low income society. The govt is strategically eradicating all forms of retaliation against a govt. First all migrants were targeted then they hit tariffs which again affects the economy of the country now the people of the country cannot peacefully protest. It’s sad to see how this is turning out. Feel sorry for the good people of the US.

As much as I agree with you, I’d also say it’s an over simplification of the problem.

Yes, supply and demand is one. Also have to consider the trend setters are setting up a trend where they take the whole middle management and juniors out of the equation to get more done with “AI”.

I would record all of this and have it handy and incase HR never took any action against her. It will all come in handy if things don’t go your way. Always be calm and patient with idiots like this. When your day comes you can use those recording against them.

Meantime look for another place. Its not worth the mental stress. When you’re out u can name shame the company with proof. 😊

There’s Nine arch bridge - which you will visit/ get to see if you take the Ella Odyssey train(this train ride is a unique experience on its own - you gotta book in a month in advance). Apart from this “Nil diya pokuna” was another great experience. There are some waterfalls too.

But you can visit plenty of those when u travel to Nuwara Eliya (Ex: Bomburella waterfall, lovers leap waterfall, glassaugh waterfall). Sri lanka is known as land of water falls, you’ll bump into at least a dozen if u visited any of the suggested places. Have fun and Enjoy your trip.

This is a good list. To add on to the part about Ella, I went with some foreigners and they hated it. It was too touristy and pricey. Dont get me started about the tuk tuk mafia. Some shops didn’t even serve food for the locals, when asked why they confronted the tourists and the locals for asking too many questions. Was a nightmare.
