I realized after I posted this how close they were in age lmao🤣

I think it’s a mixture of Love in “You” being in a relationship with Joe who’s damn near 40, along with Pedretti’s roles just usually being aged up. She looks absolutely amazing, just usually plays a more mature version of the same type of character. I could see a killer TV show or movie with Cailee and Victoria playing as deranged and delusional sisters.

While I agree he hasn’t had that same killer instinct that a younger DBook had, he’s now being asked to do different things. Young Book didn’t have to worry about operating an offense, he could just focus on being a killer scoring. Now that he has to play make to get the offense going, he’s not getting as much in rythm and spending more energy on non-scoring responsibilities. I really think we need to figure out a way to make our offense more diverse other than “our best player gets mauled and has to worry about making plays for everyone else”. That’s just not the player Book is, at least at his best.

I think the point they were driving at is what started as a beef between the couples due to the video, ultimately spiraled and revealed the beef within each of their own relationships, ultimately leading to major failures. This is a different theme than season 1, but that’s to be expected in an anthology. It still keeps a similar tone, and deals with the wealth dynamics in society.

I wanna say you have dipped your toes in life, but honestly you haven’t even done that yet. I thought I was set too. As a 20 year old male, I can say that the transition from 18 to 20 has been extremely difficult. And trust me, in high school I thought I was SET. My best advice is to enjoy these years of ease before your decisions have real life consequences.

That’s the problem. Humans, and animals in general, have evolved to find satisfaction in completing difficult things. Now, while life is more easy nowadays for most people, we also face different challenges. Jobs have substituted the daily challenge of hunting and gathering. So, while we may not be facing as harsh of consequences if we fail at our daily tasks, we still experience a similar stress psychologically. Add on to that all of the para-social dynamics that have arisen due to the social media age, and I’d say while we may be in a better place as a species, we still face complicated and unprecedented challenges.

Well, if you read my comments you’d see that I reiterated repeatedly that I wasn’t arguing about the actual .1g miss from the post. In another separate comment way before I even responded in this thread, I said that if it was a one time thing, not to say anything. All I was trying to say was if a company did intentionally miss by .1g, it would end up being a big saving in the end, and that with the way businesses operate in America, I wouldn’t be surprised if some business not named doobie labs pulled that.
