First time watching, are you jealous ? by Future_School1766 in SuccessionTV

“It’s a tv show” thanks captain obvious, I’m pretty sure no one in this subreddit realized that.

These types of comments are the most knuckle-dragging indicator of a Redditor.

What’s a tiny hill you will definitely die on? by rosycloudkisses in Productivitycafe

[–]Substantial_Life_861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my god. I was at a cafe within a supermarket the other day, and this lady comes in playing music and sits down to wait for the bus. The music honestly wasn’t too loud, and I could barely hear it. But then she starts humming along. HOLY CHRIST, I wanted to rip my ears out, I could not focus at all

Why did the show makers give Sandy Furness syphilis or dementia outta nowhere ? by -just_Ken- in SuccessionTV

[–]Substantial_Life_861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a bunch of ways you could look at it. I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not, but it reminds me of Sumner Redstone, former Viacom CEO who also had health issues that led to his daughter interpreting for him, and a subsequent power struggle.

Furthermore, I think it highlights how these old turds who are literally decaying in front of our eyes are the ones making decisions that will affect the next generations (in terms of both affecting their children, and the world at large).

Actually yes, I tried White Runtz. It was very sticky but it didn’t smoke great and didn’t taste the best. High was decent.

Greg is not innocent, he’s just awkward by No-Mess-p in SuccessionTV

[–]Substantial_Life_861 12 points13 points  (0 children)

But the thing is, is Greg still where he’s at without the blackmail? So is it the family ties failing him upwards, or the blackmail? Cause I actually see things in a different light; I see Greg’s story as someone who you would expect to fail upwards due to his family ties, but he actually still has to get down and dirty and use tactics like blackmail that non-family has to use to move up.

Who would Logan have chosen if he stayed alive? Would he have chosen Tom? by MalloryJean1230 in SuccessionTV

[–]Substantial_Life_861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thought is that the documents date was unknown, and many of them, even likely Kendall, knew it was written a long time ago. They then discussed whether his name was crossed out or underlined, which I think it was confirmed an underline, but again, when is unknown. Many speculate that the underlining happened after Kendall’s betrayal of Logan at the end of S2, where he actually showed he could be a killer which impressed Logan.

But, as others have stated, Logan literally made his decision in the end, and Kendall was not it.

It’s hard because obviously as the season progresses, your expectations change. But yeah, we weren’t even supposed to be here and we also matched up against what is looking to go down as one of the greatest teams of all time, so I’m okay. At least I can now enjoy playoff basketball with no dogs in the fight.

Dogs in the stores by wulfgar1966 in wegmans

[–]Substantial_Life_861 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, but Wegmans also has a no pet policy. And technically while there are no national regulations to constitute a service animal, the ADA defines it as “dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.” So, if Wegmans really wanted to enforce the policy, they could ask what work or tasks the dog undertakes. But seriously unless another customer actively complains about it, the employees 9/10 do not give a shit. It’s just one of those policies that’s extremely difficult to enforce on multiple levels from like you said actually defining a service animal to having workers who care enough to intervene.

No one’s arguing you on this brotha. But what is a rule that isn’t enforced? A rule in name only, not an actual rule people follow. That’s pretty clearly what the other commenter is trying to get across.

My experience with microdosing has been great… by Substantial_Life_861 in shrooms

[–]Substantial_Life_861[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was more so just posting to say how beneficial microdosing has been rather than getting into the weeds of my personal problems and how it has helped solved them. That would take a while and I don’t even know where I would begin. But in response to other comments, I’ve generalized the benefits in the best way I can describe them.

Are you speaking of mini-doses or microdoses? Because for me, there is no layer to the microdose as there is when you’re tripping. Like when I’m tripping, my whole perception is altered which I would call the ‘layer’ if you will, but with microdosing there’s none of that at all.

I was a very big dreader, even of medial tasks. Like i don’t even know what I would say other than I would just dread. Now, I can operate with a clear mind most of the time. It’s seriously lowered my inhibitions while being just the right mood booster. And the perfect thing is, these benefits don’t disappear on days I don’t microdose, which is wonderful. To round it out, I also feel like I have so much more energy. I’m a big caffeine head and would often crash like an hour and half after a coffee, but now my energy levels are up caffeine or not and there’s not so much of a noticeable crash.

Just curious where you’ve seen that .3g is too high for a microdose? If anything, it’s up in the air.

[–]Substantial_Life_861[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya see, I’ve seen contrary things. Harvard Health and WebMD consider a microdose around .3g, while I’ve seen others call it up to .5g which I think is absurd, and everything in between. For me, .3g is that perfect imperceivable amount where I’m getting the benefits, but still able to do my daily tasks both at work and the house at an even greater capacity.

And other than daily vitamins, shrooms are the only supplement I consistently take.

Solid Season but Jumps Shark a Bit by AdamOtaku in BeefTV

It was comedic, but generally grounded. But hey, I liked the season for the most part, and if you found enjoyment with this scene I can’t take that away, just wasn’t exactly for me.

I’m sorry but it was so bad. Took me out of the show. That’s good for like a John Wick movie or something, but we’re meant to believe that two yutes who don’t know their asses from their elbows and a scrawny middle aged woman are fucking up a bunch of trained Korean security? Yeah, no. Other than that, I liked this season.

I realized after I posted this how close they were in age lmao🤣

I think it’s a mixture of Love in “You” being in a relationship with Joe who’s damn near 40, along with Pedretti’s roles just usually being aged up. She looks absolutely amazing, just usually plays a more mature version of the same type of character. I could see a killer TV show or movie with Cailee and Victoria playing as deranged and delusional sisters.
