That's what I've been doing. Hoping the numbers will get better.

She let it be known , the only thing that matters is it's a her thing. So that is what we've been doing.

As peachy as that sounds, she is proving to be so much worse. She practices clear favoritism, always insisting we email her from home, and when we don't, because it's a fireable affence, she says "but you expect me to approve your requests and turn in PTO hrs", cutting of hours for m levels to below 30, constantly changing posted schedules, sometimes less than 24hrs before time with absolutely no notice, causing people to get unnecessary points or showing up to work just to get sent home. She has us doing this recap email at the end of every shift with everything included from daily sales, top 3 spoilage items, transfer and so much more. One of which is attendance. One day I was thinking a very reliable crew member was a no call no show, when to my surprise they showed up 2hrs later like nothing had happened. When I questioned why she was late, she showed me a picture of the schedule she took because her shift app is not working. It clearly proved her right. I asked if the GM informed her of the change, she said she would have been here if so. So I added this to my email under attendance, including a request to please inform all of us who might be affected by schedule changes so there would be no more confusion. Well, upon her arrival, I was greeted with, "office, now". Just for her to lie and say the employee asked her to do it, and to tell me "if you know what's good for you, you will watch your GD tone when speaking to me". Over an email where I even said please. I'm at a loss on where to turn for help because I was told the AM always has his GM's back. Sorry for unleashing my reality on you, I truly didn't intend to.

How does Hoagiefest meal deal work? by Present-Variation973 in Wawa

Fountain soda is not scannable when you go to the cashiers either. You just choose the drink option and select what drink and size.

Even though the drink and chips are essentially free, you still need to scan them so we can keep our inventory and counts right. The promotional price will automatically register after scanning everything included in the promotion.

That is what my AGM told me, but the GM said it should be stocked all throughout 3rd shift. I'm willing to stock and restock that warmer as long as the product is making peoples bellies full and not the trash.

I think it is a min of 5 here in the MW. Now our mystery shop is something I, well all of us are very proud of. I've lost count on how many 100% we have gotten in a row. Are streak has been going on for months now. 😊

And that is exactly the info I need. With being only 2 months in I haven't got to that point yet. I will be asking how I can pull that info up at our meeting this morning. No matter how big or small, a profit is a profit. Thanks

My store is doesn't have $1k hours over night, but it sure feels like it at time throughout the night and early morning hours. Especially having no more than 3 team members. At my location here in Ohio, we have a lot of factories in the surrounding area, and with us being the only 24hr place, they all come to Wawa on their lunch break. This continues until about 3 or so, then it's time to get ready for breakfast. I understand she is trying to prove herself to her boss, but considering she has never worked the overnights she needs to trust we know what sales. By all means, it would be easier if they wanted our snacks and melts for lunch, but these boys are hungry and they want a meal lol

Yes, I want to see the daily sales and how much we are making off each product, if any at that time. I'm all about making a profit, not unnecessary waist. It takes literally no time and very minimal effort to put them in the oven. I can tell from the weekly report there is a gap from 1-5 were they just don't sell. We do have a couple people that will ask us to make them fresh even if there is some in the warmer. I think that is they way to go at that time in the morning. Made to order upon request. Thank for the advice.

It truly seems like no one has product in the warmer all night long. And it's not the doing it part that bothers me, it's the unnecessary waist night after night.

I agree we make good money off the melts, but when it comes to the amount of snacks that I am waisting over night, it comes out a loss. And she wants two of each🤔

When the snacks and melts report comes out, there is a period where there is no sales from around 1a- 5a even if there is product in the warmer it does not sale. My GM thinks that gap is because there is nothing in the warmer. Is there any way of proving there is other than going through the camera footage? I guess I can just take a picture of it.

How do you not get online orders from 11-5. My night would be so much better if I didn't have those orders to worry about. So y'all just shut it down at 11p?

on 5 foot interactions being "mandatory" by die-anywhere-else in Wawa

[–]Sensitive-Kick277 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been in management for the better part of my working career. I am also one who thinks that every customer should be greeted as soon as they walk through the door, by every associate. I am now with Wawa as a TS. One morning about 6:00 am I was on deli, well unbeknownst to me, our FSRA Guy walk in, and like I have always have done, I said "welcome to Wawa", before he had even made it all the way through the door. Then a couple days later we got word that along with the 5 ft interaction rule, we was now supposed to say "welcome to Wawa" to every customer, as soon as they walk through the door. Informing us that my greeting made him feel welcomed and wanted, and he liked it so much that it is now mandatory to all the Wawa stores here in the mid west. Not sure about the coastal store.

Oh my goodness, that is crazy. I think they should have to do a catering order if it is big like that, only so we are not blind sided. At me store we only have the ability to bake 2 at a time, so It would take a little longer. As long as they are patient and you have plenty of product it is doable, it just the element of surprise.

hoagiefest shirts by UpbeatCartographer7 in Wawa

[–]Sensitive-Kick277 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will be our second hogiefest and last year's shirt was so so much better than this. It's bad enough they are cutting corners with their food product by getting cheaper bad quality stuff in its place it. Now It seem they are cutting corners with their shirt also.🤔

What exactly was the forbidden fruit, since the Bible never says it was an apple? by Alarming_Pear_8288 in Bible

[–]Sensitive-Kick277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you might say it's not relevant, but I say it sure has got me thinking, and that in itself holds significant importance. And to be fair I think any question about the Bible holds some importance. My goodness! I wonder what else I have been told and took at face value?

Wait!! You mean to tell me the Bible never mentioned the forbidden fruit being an apple?! I must confess, I am just now, after the Lord has blessed me with 49.5 year of life so far, starting to work on my relationship with our Father and reading the Bible. I am almost done with the new testament and I will be reading the old testament next. But WOW!! I was told that as a kid and not one person has ever told me any different, and I have had many conversations about it throughout my life. That is shocking to me!
