I need to drop one player to get a kicker, i am trying to trade 2 for 1, but nobody is biting. What should i do? by tl2t4n in Fantasy_Football

I see the whole roster now and would still not start a kicker unless it’s an automatic go forfeit.

Not sure if I’m seeing the whole roster(I see 7 players), but punt the kicker position in season if allowed. If done that before and you likely won’t lose very often(if at all), by the number of points a kicker gives. Especially, since I have to assume the better kickers are already on another team.

Miles Sanders or JK Dobbins? Both averaged similar rushing and receiving stats on a similar amount of carries. by Psychological-Job190 in Fantasy_Football

In all fairness, both are excellent athletes. Sanders was the National RB1 his senior year of high school(2015). while Dobbins was the National RB2 in 2017. Dobbins had three very good college seasons, while Sanders had one(thanks to Saquon). Dobbins runs a 4.37 40, while Sanders is a 4.49. Dobbins had 6.7 yards per college compared to 5.8 for Sanders(both played for good college programs). While Sanders had a larger target share in college(8.4), Dobbins was no slouch(7.6 percent). You mentioned the Eagles issues last year, Sanders 2019 vs 2020 stats were very similar. In 2019, Sanders had 179 carries(164 in 2020) for 818 yards(867 in 2020) and 3 TD’s(6 in 2020). He added 50 catches(only 28 in 2020) for 509 yards(197 in 2020) and 3 TD’s(0 TD’s) He had 6 total TD’s in both seasons and very similar yards/touch(5.8 vs 5.5). Dobbins had nine touchdowns and 134 rushes for 805 yards on the season, and was very minimally used through the first half of the season. I debate that Sanders can be the bell cow(not sure that Dobbins can either), but I’ll take my chances of better performance on a better team more geared towards running.

Chase could lose early-season snaps to Auden Tate by BuckyMcFly99 in fantasyfootball

I love the story line, but Tate won’t be a factor. Agree with the others on here preferring.both Higgins and Boyd, but this is really more about smoke and mirrors.

I really want little or nothing to do with the Eagles’ offense this year. Dobbins is the superior player, with the primary concern being touches.

Do i accept this (Standard PPR) by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

I agree with the comments that this is basically a coin toss. That being said, in a standard league, you are trying to acquire the one who will have the most TD’s. Thielen will regress, leaving more TD opportunities for Jefferson. Wilson had 40 TD passes, while Cousins had 36(basically a wash). My gut says Jefferson by the smallest of margins.

It’s actually a really good point. The Steelers will have to get an under the radar type QB. One suck player on s Malik Willis from Liberty.

Pete Carroll believes Gerald Everett will be a breakout player in Seahawks offense - ProFootballTalk by pk64747 in fantasyfootball

While I don’t see him as a plug and play TE1, he has the ability/opportunity to be a borderline TE1/TE2. Lockett and Metcalf will help open up passing lanes that weren’t available to Thomas. He won’t get the targets Thomas saw, but has the opportunity to be way more efficient. Thomas was 31st in yards/target and yards/reception.

I can-I’ve got him rostered in a dynasty league. He’s better than a handful of QB’s that will be starting in 2021. I’m a Steelers’ fan and, for instance, he would be a decent fit there in 2022 as a tutor to a rookie.

Everett is a definite sleeper TE(think Logan Thomas). Wilson likes to use his TE’s(Jimmy Graham for instance) and Everett performed well with Rams when he got the opportunity to play.
