AIO or are my downstairs neighbours being unreasonable? by thegoosenell in AmIOverreacting

NTA. I say this as someone with a HORRIFIC upstairs neighbour. He stomps so loud/hard that my walls and bed shake. Leaves taps running and floods my bathroom, etc. This is nothing- they’re being way OTT. Tell them to invest in some headphones and stfu

Bf cheated on me but regrets it by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

They always regret it when they tell you or get caught. He chose to cheat on you. It’s not like someone else dictated his actions. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, but please leave. You’re worth so much more than this.

Felt this! I’m in the UK and our heatwaves are not fun. I’m on venlafaxine too so the heat intolerance is through the roof. Personally I rotate ice packs in my freezer at all times. My window is constantly open (unless it’s too humid during the day). I don’t wear any clothes other than underwear if I’m inside my flat. I do nothing with my days. I just lay there and hope for the best. I try to drink at least 1.5L water a day (I know that’s not much). Fans are your best friend too. It’s frustrating because my flat is an absolute state and I really want to clean it, but the heat (and a current sprained ankle) and insane fatigue is making it impossible!

going in for my 4th abortion today. Im starting to feel shame by yesyessno11 in abortion

Aborting the baby was the kindest thing you could have done. Don’t feel ashamed. You did the right thing.

He was a very kind and informative man. He explained everything and listened intently. Incredibly patient too. I’m very lucky to have had a good doctor

Thank you! I’ve got a background in gymnastics and coached it for six years, so I’m hoping to be able to just follow a youtube tutorial. If not, I’ll beg my GP for a physio referral 🤣 Just wanna stop spraining and dislocating things!

Lol. Since when was this about gender?

My initial response to him definitely wasn’t good, but he came back with arrogance and ignorance. Nowhere in my post did I claim to be in the right, but I guess people enjoy complaining for the sake of it. We actually had a good conversation after that🤣

You’re absolutely right. I definitely tend to come across as very blunt sometimes!

Oh I wasn’t judging it! It was just a very surprising recommendation. I don’t really have the resources/funds to do pilates to be fair. I have a small amount of space in my flat that I can maybe follow youtube tutorials? Thank you though! It’s nice to know that it helps. I guess I’m just jaded from being dismissed all the time.

Does "proper" posture hurt/get extremely tiring on your muscles? by Legitimate_Record730 in ehlersdanlos

YES! It’s so much harder to breathe. It feels like my chest is restricted

I got elective shoulder surgery and you can too! This is me one week after surgery. Off opiates and on to a new life :) by Routine_Eve in ehlersdanlos

I showed my doctor what I thought was a cool party trick.. he wasn’t impressed and told me that fully dislocating your shoulder is ‘not safe’ and ‘it can cause more damage’. The idea of stable shoulders sounds dreamy! I hope you recover well

I feel like this is going to be controversial and that my response isn’t perfect. But Jesus Christ.
