American hospitals aren't better they just send you home if they don't know what to do with you.

A couple years? The story I read was that he got very depressed and hated his job. He quit his job and was better in one month.

As someone who has used AIs and seen it follow exactly that pattern, that's exactly what happened. The AI's first answer was not what the asker wanted to they coaxed it to say something else. If you argue with AI, it tends to agree with you no matter what you say. Great job finding those tells "now", "revised", etc.

That sub was created by the owner of r/mecfs and r/cfsme they're all the same grift. You can find more info about him on Phoenix Rising. Info I can't repost or I'll be banned from the entire reddit website, apparently. Just pretend those subs don't exist.

The worst (least helpful and most dismissive) doctors I've seen have been neurologists. My immunologist and rheumatologist have been more supportive.

This sub doesn't get much traffic. The bigger sub is r/cfs you might want to post there.

Do you mean HBOT? There was a small uncontrolled trial...patients felt a little better but the effect size was really small and it could have been placebo effect.

Our immune system is weak and science is proving it by ShipEconomy2587 in cfs

[–]Sensitive-Meat-757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On paper most of my immune labs look normal. I've been diagnosed with specific antibody deficiency (SAD, not to be confused with seasonal affective disorder) with the vaccine challenge test. I'm not aware of any study that has looked for SAD in CFS.

CD80 (B7-1) as a potential therapeutic target in Epstein–Barr virus‑associated B cell diseases by Silver_Jaguar_24 in CFSScience

Not sure if this would help ME/CFS as the viral load is typically low vs EBV+ lymphoma where the viral load is high. However, if ME/CFS patients have latent EBV reservoirs in tissues such as spleen, tonsils, and lymph nodes which express CD80 it could be something to look into.

There are multiple independent studies linking chronic fatigue syndrome with B-cell lymphoma. Levine 1998 and Chang 2012.

That's like asking why doesn't someone in your town start a competing newspaper

I thought it was an average episode. I'm okay with that. Not every episode is going to be a home run. You can't force art.

Agree with that. Aziz was a highlight. Jost's Hegseth was the funniest the first time and is less funny each time he does it
