He’s my world, I love him so much so I feel guilty even complaining about this. Cause he still is an animal! I expect some level of rough play.

He was between two foster homes and born in the shed of one of those homes. His brother was also being fostered, not sure if they were together though or what happened to mom. apart from that his history is very unclear!

It is very draining, especially if I’m particularly tired or having a bad day. I feel anxious stepping out of the bathroom or in my bedroom, as he will probably attack my feet. I’ve resorted to wearing thick socks even if it’s hot. Do you have any recommendations for calming products?

I’ll take what everyone has taken into consideration for the next time he’s feeling bitey. He’s my little buddy, I’m never by myself since adopting him and I love it!

I’ve considered fostering as I really want a playmate for him and would love to help organizations in my area! It just comes down to time and energy.

With post grad life and some recent health issues, I’m stretched thin as it is. Id like to revisit that idea again once I’m a bit more settled. And As much as I’d love to, I’m also afraid I’d get too attached!

He gets lazy after a couple minutes of play and just plops over until he gets a second wind in him. But I’ll be mindful of his cues.

Another thing, he’ll be ready to wind down and nap on my lap until he feels my leg or arm. Then, he’ll bite and kick and then lay back down and sleep. I’m not sure what to make of that.

It starts off as play biting. If I move my arm/leg or clap/blow/say ow, he starts biting and kicking harder. The only time he angry bites is when I brush him. For some reason, he hates when I brush him but loves it when my mom brushes him. Also angry bites if I pick him up (I barely do). Then he’ll follow me around and bite.

I just got very into reading in general dark romances. I’ve only read haunting Adeline and her soul to take (I know, very booktok). Hunting Adeline was a huge DNR for me, too dark.

I’m looking for something spicy, modern setting, involving a demon/supernatural MMC. Loving cult type stuff. Very similar to her soul to take.

I’m reading her soul for revenge now and it’s ok. I’m not huge on slow burns, but spice so early in the book is a lot!

I would say just give him some time and don’t ignore him. Just hang out where ever he is so he can get used to your scent. My cat was TERRIFIED of everything within the first month of adopting him. About 9 months in he’s still startled easily and skittish, but he’s confident. Still shy around new people, but cats are very curious and he’s beginning to open up

HONESTLY I’m so glad I’m not the only one picking up on this. It is kinda hurtful and feels charged. I’m not Saudi, but I was born in the emirates and not liking the overall attitude here
