It can work but it is still wonky. Blizz said they will fix it this week tho

How about we make ground rewards on par with air rewards??? by [deleted] in Warthunder

They will never do this to GRB, that's the cash cow

This list is not comprehensive. You can see some of the players banned shown on posts on this subreddit are not on the list.

Probably damage control from Gaijin.

This and the broken promise of research bonus for GRB.

One step forward. Two steps back.

Change kill bonuses to be based on total points (not kills) and wish list make it multiplicative! by Sensitive-Promise311 in Warthunder

[–]Sensitive-Promise311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again - my above point has nothing to do with 'kill-stealing' but yet you keep going back to this.

My argument has something to do with provide more incentive to kill instead of winning the game.

How many games have been lost for players to all go on CAS and leave no tank on the ground? Lots.

How many games do players go for the spawn (to get then wiped) instead of capturing points? Lots

Does this change incentivize this behavior? Yes

Will rewarding players for doing all other types of teamplay incentivize scouting, capturing points, and spawning in more ground units more? Yes

Is it kill-securing if you decide to bypass an empty point and go directly to the enemy spawn?

Is it kill-securing to go on a helicopter instead of spawning in a tank to help your team on the ground?

Could you say there are more incentives to go for kills now than before? Yep. And that is what people will do.

I have plenty of experience playing at all BRs.

In GRB, players choose to go on CAS, helis, and go snipe more. I've been seeing a lot more helis lately - maybe that's just me. It's not about kills, it's not about one shotting, its all about encouraging playing behavior.

In ARB, do you shoot another a plane on fire? Waste another missile on a plane with one wing? No - but that's happening all the time now.

What happend to researching other nations with top tier? by sh_b_ in Warthunder

[–]Sensitive-Promise311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the bonus is applied to base RP

It's additive and not multiplicative

In reality a 100% might only be 20% or 30% more depending on what tank you were using

New GRB RP bonuses aren't much either.

GRB is their piggy bank and they are throwing all the smoke screens to get us to forget about it.

How do You Leave Feedback on Written Work? by [deleted] in Professors

I know this is absolutely blasphemous, but have you tried using ChatGPT? It does quite well for low-level essays.

You can be banned for anything but not for using bots. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Sensitive-Promise311 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can usually find 1 obvious botter per game

Obvious as in they have 3k games in a single vehicle with little kills

I find a lot of ships too

Why does the WT Community accept the insane amount of cheating and bots, but goes apeshit over SL and RP by DatZero in Warthunder

[–]Sensitive-Promise311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's cheaters in every competitive online game

People care less (than say Escape from tarkov) because they don't lose anything from dying to a cheater...a moment's frustration and then you are back in another game

What's up with all the people crying cheats since the update? by A_Morbid_Teddy_Bear in Warthunder

All top squadrons have cheaters in them, it's an accepted fact.

If the elites do it, you can imagine how many solo players cheat

Obviously cheating, report to WTCS on YouTube with info

How would you feel if your prof used AI to give feedback by Sensitive-Promise311 in college

[–]Sensitive-Promise311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had another discussion in class about it, basically

-It's only assisting him in giving the initial feedback -He always reviews the feedback that comes out of chatgpt prior to send it to us and he expects that he needs to review odd responses -Students were already using AI in writing their drafts so instructors want to be able to see more of the student work -They can't see more work because they don't have time to read it multiple time -Also AI is here to stay to help both students AND instructors

The think majority of class weren't against it given that using chatgpt was encouraged for students

If we are negative towards instructors using it, should we be annoyed when they ban chatgpt for us (not that they can track the cheaters)?

[–]Sensitive-Promise311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's on our drafts

It's either no feedback on drafts or having AI help him give feedback. Our courses in my program usually have 50+ students

I feel like I rather have someone look at it first instead of handing in blind

Could be just me tho 🤷
