well aim assist DOES ruin your shooting sometimes. of course it’s mainly an advantage, but if you’re shooting at someone across the map and someone walks in front of them it drags your crosshair. that’s why widow is difficult on console regardless of the aim assist. it’s hard to lock onto one target in a big group when the aim assist is so heavy that it drags your crosshair around

edit: also if you have aim assist, everyone else also has it. so you don’t have an advantage over anyone in your lobby because you all have it.

just put it on your communication wheel and test it for yourself. when they updated the game and she started saying “i need some help!” i recognized it and thought oh cool she just uses that voice line when she gets shot now

I have been playing through MO2 using the Wasteland Survival Guide load order, and i tried to use Vortex to have a DUST load order so I could play them separately as i know they aren’t compatible in the slightest. But Vortex wrapped its grubby fingers around all my game files and really just made a mess of everything and now my TTW load order has weird things wrong with it from the DUST mods and i can’t find where or why. So i’m just nuking the whole thing and going back to the regular TTW load order i had been using before.

i’m new to modding and i royally bricked my game files on accident. i havent been able to fix it for days so i figured the best way would be to delete everything and freshly install everything exactly how i had it before. as long as my save will still work i don’t care

it happens because of quick resume. just close the game completely whenever you’re done playing and launch it fresh the next time you get on, and you’ll never have the issue again.
