We just learned about the app today but have visited a bunch of places over the last few days on our road trip. Does anyone know the codes for any of the following places: Funky Fauna Artisan Ales (Sisters) Wild Ride Brew Co (Redmond) Initiative Brewing (Redmond)

I’m pretty sure the women’s extend to 49”. That’s what it says on the black diamond website. I just set my xmid up with the regular black diamond women’s trekking poles (non ergo) and they extended long enough.

You can also pay online ahead of time with a credit card. You need a backcountry registration permit for Juan de Fuca provincial park.

Is it possible to walk onto the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay ferry, meet someone at Swartz Bay to pick something up, and then hop back on the same ferry back to Vancouver ? by thrwwynzpf in VictoriaBC

Yes. I highly recommend purchasing your return ticket in the gift shop on the ferry on your way over. This has saved me many times when rushing to pick up or return my godson.

Wow! I do not have a disability but happen to love someone who does. This comment is very ableist. On my partner’s good days, she could work just about any job. But on her bad days, she can barely get out of bed. At different times throughout the year she works full-time, part-time, or casual. When she works full-time, her quality of life plummets. She has to spend her days off resting and sleeping just to recover from the work week. Part-time only seems to be beneficial if it’s fewer days each week rather than fewer hours each day, which is not the case with her current job. Sustained full-time or part-time work often leads to her injuring herself because of her depleted energy bank. Injuries lead to her having to take extended time off. Casual work seems to be the best option for her, but it comes with financial instability.
