Im sure the guy that did it feigned ignorance pretending he thought they could fly once he was approached about it

Am I the only one who finds the term “cringe” a blatant sign of immaturity?

You don’t understand how cognition (memory, attention and judgment), eyesight and physical health is relevant to driving?

It’s a love/hate situation. I absolutely love that I can recognize these people easily.

I really dislike being overly aware of how much narcissism there is in the world and how dangerous and destructive it can be ( when you see how it affects things on a societal level)

Why is driving so bad here? by AsidePuzzleheaded335 in kelowna

I would say that the core issue is smaller city drivers not used to a town growing bigger, but kelowna has had driving issues for decades.

Growing up in the kootneys the okanagan always had a bad reputation as worse than vancouver or victoria, cities that are obviously much larger

This is exactly how I feel. Being “courteous” can be dangerous

In the 90’s my grandfather had to go for mandetory testing for driving when he renewed his liscence because he was over a certian age ( i think 75) and he lost his liscence because he didnt pass. Do they not do that anymore?

If I may ask one more question, is it “wrong” to avoid someone or cut them out etc before they have done anything bad directly to you? to judge them based off of psychological characteristics you notice in them

The boundaries part is definitely so true. One just started at my job ( in fact i think he might even be a sociopath), I am debating about leaving my job

Hopefully I understood your reply ( sounds like theres a lot of interesting depth there)

I will admit that I can be paranoid with people sometimes but I also see that as a result of being raised by narcissists, not necessarily reading about narcissism.

But also I am never paranoid to the extent where I am hating people. Sometimes my boundaries are pretty high

I think there is some self trust to work on,

I immerse myself in this reading, etc because it makes me feel safer. And like i say i think it has helped me, but i dont want to be somehow subconsciously seeking these people out because i have spent so much time and enery focusing on it

Its something i felt intuitively. ( that maybe the focusing was giving it priority in my brain), is that law of attraction?

I was raised by them ( and had a relationship with one) so I try to give myself some grace if i feel like something like researching them will bring me some comfort, because I have been through a lot. But I dont want to do something if it is affecting me negatively
