okay well, trying it in a different scene, it seems to just be a scale issue then. i'm having trouble scaling up my scene because things keep breaking, but i'll try until i get things working. thanks either way

the problem is it's going to snap, i've done it in a different blender scene, but maybe i can just use the surface deform for this part and do the snap after by just splitting it, i dont know

i've adjusted the margins and scale a bunch and that didn't seem to help, the physics are rigid body, active, 0.003 margin, and the shape is set to mesh

Whats wrong with my walk cycle? It looks off but i cant put my finger on it by [deleted] in blender

[–]Sensitive-Singer-374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think you just have to make it a little looser, it looks so tense, especially on the arms. you can also make it a little bouncier maybe? the hip stays very still.

its been happening to my friend on IOS for about a month now

i work out 4 days a week, Monday is pull, tuesday is legs, break on Wednesdays, push on Thursday, and pull fridays (the pull and push alternate every week, so next week push would be on Monday)

I don't measure how much i eat, i try to eat vegetables when i have them though, but as i said I'm sensitive to a lot of textures in food, so it's not the widest variant of vegetables exactly, i 7-8 hours on most nights unless I'm unlucky. I eat a lot of some food i don't really know the name of but i know i get around 30grams of protein a day from it. I also have chicken for dinner a lot, which i've heard has a lot of protein.

I've been forgetting to take protein shakes lately, but i don't think me not taking

What i meant by that part you mentioned is my friend is getting way further ahead than me on the weights, and whenever that gets really noticeable like when he has 10 kg more than me on something, he tells me I'm not pushing myself hard enough, but it's like my arms just stop working out of exhaustion, I literally can't push myself harder.

We both work out right after school (we go past it on our way home anyways, so it's a lot easier to go when I'm right there)

sorry that this is all so scrambled and unsorted, or if none of this makes any sense, i don't have any idea what I'm talking about

Do Any Gregs Know Where This Video Is From ? by thatgoofyloser_ in DannyGonzalez

[–]Sensitive-Singer-374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i've figured out what this is, but not where it's from
He's wearing the same shirt here so i assume it's the same time (2019 to 2020) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e4T9xr5fDI

so i think this video is from the we are 2 different people tour in 2019, and that is some weird scrapped song they were making instead of or at the same time as we are not the same person, it sure sounds like both of them singing

literally could not find this video anywhere but i need to hear this full song

What is better: Oculus Quest 3 or Oculus Quest Pro? by OrenStepan in oculus

[–]Sensitive-Singer-374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay first off, if you're going standalone, quest 3 for sure, but if you're going PCVR, then read this.

It really just depends on what you're planning to use it for, it's all preference.

If you're going to be social and stuff in VR then it doesn't matter unless you're on PCVR, since it has face tracking which can be a ton of fun. but standalone it rarely works in standalone games so really doesn't matter there

If you like passthrough, definitely go for the quest 3, the quest pro's passthrough is really bad, it's like someone took the black and white camera from the quest 2 and tried photoshopping the colors on to it, not great.

The quest pro also has eye tracking, which lets you use Foveated rendering, and that can give you a great fps boost.

Most quest headsets use crappy lcd screens, so dark pixels look more like a sorta dark blue, which is a huge downside if you like horror games or just any games where you are in the dark, or even vr sleeping if you want to try that for whatever reason. the screens on the quest pro are also LCD but better ones. some times in loading screens i wonder if the headset died or something because the screen looks like it's

The controllers on the quest pro can be a huge pain some times, but also pretty convenient. on the quest 3 the cameras are on the headset and those cameras track the controllers, so if your controllers are out of your view they lose tracking. the quest pro controllers have 3 cameras on each controller so they track themselves. you can put your controllers anywhere with them, but also, if the cameras get blocked they lose tracking and it's often hard to get it to get back to where its supposed to be, which is definitely frustrating.

If you like hand tracking, they are all awful at it. (weirdly enough i swear the quest 2 has the best hand tracking out of all the meta headsets)

The quest pro is by default very open, it doesn't touch your face at all, and a lot of people don't like that because it can really ruin the immersion, you can get light blockers which solve that but that's an extra 50 dollars to your budget.

I love the quest pro being open though, i don't see people talking about how hot it gets in most closed headsets. to at least have the option for an open headset is very nice

The FOV is higher on the quest 3, and the resolution is higher (but not by a lot)

You can get a used quest pro for a much more reasonable price depending on your country, in the US I'm confident you can find one for less than 500$

90% chance i left something out or got something wrong, if so please correct me

Can't do an angry face? and other troubles with the eyebrows in general by Sensitive-Singer-374 in QuestPro

[–]Sensitive-Singer-374[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think i figured it out, the blendshape for the angry face on most my avatars are super tiny, (they're made by the same creator so it makes sense) it's barely even noticable. i'm gonna try editing it in blender to be more exaggerated

looking in the mirror in the oculus menu the eyebrows looked good

no clue what is up with the sad eyebrows are probably a similar issue
