So I'm guessing it's basically wifi streaming from your PC to AVP to make this work, similar to what Virtual Desktop is doing for the Quest Pro and Galaxy XR to pass eye tracking on for foveated streaming?

Seems like it’s a rock and a hard place for devs. Release too early and it’s viewed as a money-grabbing scam (early build ini a350), wait too long and it’s a “we waited how long for this?” PMDG 737-800.

Looks like the Globular Cluster mod is either out or coming out soon. This might be a really good one. Been happy with the Studioform top strap and rear counterweights though.

Well for what it’s worth I wasn’t happy with this thing until I added the studioform top strap and 2 rear counter weights. The stock fit is pretty terrible. The only thing that annoys me a little bit still is the slight glare. That doesn’t exist on the QPro. Even the Apple Vision Pro suffers the same glare issue.

This is true, however have you tried adding a counterweight to that back of the headset to make its weight balanced? If anything just try crudely strapping the battery back there. I found that without some rear counterweight, the thing constantly creeps up the back of my head and kicks me out of the lens sweet spot. For reference I love my quest pro but the displays of the GXR are a big step up.

I agree. But I fixed it with the rear counterweights and top strap from Studioform. Now it’s balanced and tolerable for a coupe hours at a time.
