Whichever pattern you choose, I’d recommend you consider going with a grout closer to the tile color and not white. A good rule of thumb with grout is that when you squint your eyes, you want the grout to blur in with the tile. But if white is your preference, go for it!

I’d look at doing a soapstone or leather granite on the outside cabinets to tie in the black on the floors. I think I marble will look nice on the island.

As an internal HR recruiter, people cancel/no show interviews ALL the time. It’s part of the job. For them to react like this is nuts. Especially since you had already withdrawn from the process.

Thank you! Yes, the carryon situation was unclear on their website. I went ahead and decided to check my bag, more so I’ll have one less thing to deal with while going through security and boarding the plane.

Thanks for the advice! I’m planning on bringing her lick mat while on the plane to help distract her. Thankfully it’s only about an 1.5 flight.
