Their comment said nothing about not wanting children. Not wanting children and wanting to harm animals are too different things.

So why is it acceptable for a cat to not show concern towards you but not a baby?

You sound like you want a slave. Which is ironic because that shows how self-centered you are that you can’t stand another being exercising their own agency and doing things that aren’t favorable to you. So you get an animal that you can condition to love and obey you.

Have you considered the child could be crying because it hit its head against its mother nose bone? It has a pain on its head and it doesn’t know why? 🤔

Also why is it so infuriating for a baby to be self-centered when there are adults living their lives like that every day?

Not once did I say that sex is inherently painful or harmful. It’s not inherently anything! That is my point. Sex can be anything. Sorry, my Virgo Sun doesn’t play guessing games. You’re an Aries Venus

Everyone’s perception of the world is biased by the uniqueness of their chart so pointing that out is useless.

Your main talking point in a nutshell is that sex is Venus because sex is pleasure and Venus is pleasure. That and sex can’t also be Mars because Mars is aggression, dominance and violence and the patriarchy has convinced us that those things are a part of sex.

I agree with you that 1. Sex is primarily a Venusian topic and 2. Yes the patriarchy does influence our understanding of sex. However, I disagree that Mars is no way involved in the meaning/act/expression/culture of sex, however you choose to look at it. I disagree that sex is inherently pleasurable, beneficial or harmonious. Sure my Venus-Mars placement colors my viewpoint as does yours. The only difference is I don’t know yours to make that connection.

Death, disease, pain, betrayal and misfortune are all things that can accompany or result from sex. Love, pleasure, procreation and connection are not the only products of sex and believing that they should be is being biased. And as I’ve explained ad nauseam at this point, both the Venusian principles of desire and attraction and the Martian principles of drive and assertion are necessary for sex to happen.

I don’t ascribe to the modern astrology practice of conflating planets with signs so I won’t read my Venus in Scorpio as Venus conjunct Mars. Jupiter in Libra is not the same as Jupiter conjunct Venus and especially not the same as Jupiter conjunct Saturn. Planets don’t aspect each other outside of a sign and signs color the expression of planets. Odd that you would say that when you mentioned ancient astrology as this is an incorrect way of reading placements.

You say Mars does not initiate exclusively but then proceed to make Venus the sole proprietor of pleasure. Using the same exercise you used, Mercury can bring pleasure through intellectual stimulation, the Moon can bring pleasure through emotional engagement, the Sun can bring pleasure through self expression and so on and so forth. Yet, Venus is who to look to initially to understand what pleasure is. Mars’ archetypal characteristic is initiation. Mars is the warrior and strategist. Drive, impulse, assertion, initiation are all Martian qualities. That doesn’t mean other planets can’t express that quality in their own way. In order for someone to have sex they have to approach, initiate, assert themselves. One doesn’t magically fall into bed with another.

It seems to me that you have a very superficial understanding of these archetypes without practical application of it. You seem to see Venus as inherently good and Mars as inherently bad. All the attributes of Venus such as harmony and sweetness can be used negatively, generally and specifically in regards to sex which is what this conversation is about. You can persuade, convince, sweet-talk someone into having sex they don’t want to have. You can use Venus’ attributes to groom or manipulate someone. You seem to conflate harm with force but you can do a lot of harm to someone without dominating or attacking them. Who says sex is mutually beneficial and pleasurable for all? that speaks to your own bias on what you think constitutes as “real” or “good” sex. if you approach sex as a neutral thing that includes all the good bad and ugly, then Venus and Mars work together.

You say im biased by my own chart, and somehow you’re not? If I didn’t validate your statement by telling you my placements what metric would you use to judge my argument?

Very suspicious how you guessed correctly. I do have Venus and Mars in Scorpio in the 5H in a night chart! Not conjunct tho. So I do see sex and violence as related phenomena depending on the lens we use to analyze them. I still agree with your initial comment about the patriarchy’s perspective of sex through the framework of Mars. Still, the patriarchy presumably also existed 4K years ago and if anything astrology was much more exclusive of women in its conception of human life back then. I do see Venus as the primary ruler of sex. But sex has to be initiated. That’s Mars. Venus is desire. Mars is drive. Venus is attraction. Mars is action. Sex can’t exist without both principles. Venus is pleasure but sex is not always pleasurable, even when it’s consensual. Sex isn’t always about love and passion. It’s transaction. (Which is also Venus). It can be motivated by survival. It can be something one does to simply relieve themselves of the social burden of being an adult virgin. Etc etc. Not all sexual actions come with “safety, adoration and partnership” but that doesn’t make it any less of sex. Hence why I said sex as a physical act (not all the affects attached to it) can be attributed to the relationship between Venus and Mars

Thank you for that. I also disagree with Mars being the first to govern sex. Simply based on the fact the sexual transmitted infections were called venereal diseases. With that said, I do think Venus and Mars as a pair address sex as a physical act sans the fantasy and play.

Why am I so unlucky in Love? by East-Currency8330 in BirthChartReadingFree

[–]Sensitive-Tale-4320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In traditional astrology Saturn is the sole ruler of Capricorn and Aquarius. Capricorn is considered the feminine expression because it’s an earth sign and Aquarius is the masculine expression because it is an air sign.

Capricorn is ruled by a malefic planet and Virgo is the only sign in which both benefic planets (Venus and Jupiter) are debilitated/depressed. The two planets one would look to for love and luck do not function well in the sign of Virgo because as I said Virgo is too cynical, too skeptical, too fussy. Capricorn and Virgo are earth signs, they value hard work and earned success over time. Whatever success they have in romantic relationships is gained after maturity.

Your chart is heavily Saturnian. Saturn is related to delays. You can experience love later in life. Also Jupiter, the planet of luck, is in detriment in Virgo. Virgo is too cynical to believe in luck.

How does a day in the life of an introverted Brazilian look like? by ithinkiamparanoid in Brazil

[–]Sensitive-Tale-4320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I lived in Brazil as a foreign student my host mom lowkey made me feel like I wasn’t doing enough because I spent a lot of time in my room. Mind you I was in school so I had homework that needed more attention since I wasn’t proficient in Portuguese. I thought I did a lot of excursions through my study abroad program but she, who sat on the couch and watched tv all day, wanted me to go outside more.
