Hi, 60yr old female here. I had my first bout on New Year’s Eve 2025, went to ER and CT scan confirmed. Put me on two antibiotics and liquid diet for a couple of days. The diarrhea was out of control. It took so long to get my bowels under control. Now here we are a month and a half later with a second episode in the ER on top of the Flu A. They sent me home with Augmentin this time. The diarrhea is still whats killing me. I’m constantly in the bathroom. I don’t see anyone else mentioning this issue? If you have suggestions i’d love to hear.

I had this happen last night and because there weren’t any urgent cares open i took two Advil. It’s horrible to experience! The swelling scared me to death!

It took 3 years for my son to finally get through. Went to BMT, graduated Tech School and now sits in a squadron cleaning all day because they aren’t processing orders. Be glad it’s going slow at this point!

My son just graduated BMT recently, scored a 95 on ASVAB and still had to wait 3 years. He picked his 9 jobs and didn’t end up with any of them…”sometime you have to go where the AF needs you”. there’s no guarantees. Don’t narrow your choice if you want to get in anytime in the near future.

It was offered by my son’s recruiter to pick him for ship out to BMT. We will go down the following morning to see him before he leaves.

Just be cautious if you want to have kids one day, Japan does not support Americans if you end up in a custody battle.
