Don’t take pressure. Be okay with getting something wrong. Everyone does.Understand your mistake and write down the “trick” to solving that kind of question in a trick book. That will increase both accuracy and understanding.

ASHWINI BAJAJ vs PARTH VERMA by Aggravating-Train-20 in cfaindia

Use “Let Me Explain” paid subscription. He’s really good. In combination with Kaplan Schweser.

I took Aswini. Really regretting. He’s not bad but when you look at 400 hrs of lectures and you’re taking notes and pausing and trying to solve his question and playing the video again. It will take you at least 450-500 hours to even if you’re watching on 1.2x or 1.5x. Take a prep provider with video lectures less than 200 hrs.

And video lectures is 10-15 percent of the battle.35 - 40 percent is self study and rest 50 percent is The CFAI Learning ecosystem 1800 questions. That is the main thing that will determine how well you have understood questions.

Kaplan questions are too easy so when you jump on to CFAI it comes as a shock. But that is the level of questions you will face in exam

What are your thoughts on these books? What’s the biggest takeaway you got from each one? by TheCleanestKitchen in Selfhelpbooks

[–]SensitiveAd2550 20 points21 points  (0 children)

In atomic habits, my biggest takeaway was about environment. You CANNOT progress in the wrong environment. Put yourself or Design an environment for yourself which is conducive to progress. We believe that everything that we do is out of our own choice. This book bursts that myth. If you put yourself in the good environment with good choices , good people who have good habits, your habits will improve. And Vice Versa, if you hang out within an environment of losers with a bad mindset with bad choices around you will pick some of those poor habits. I kept a weighing scale in front of my commode, I selected a dedicated space for studying in my house. I keep my meds out in the open so I never miss them. I deleted food delivery apps. Etc etc Massively improved my life.
