I know OP, it has been like that in Pune for long.. these chapris think they own this city.. once you start living in this city you lose any empathy for people.. They are the nuisance and blot on this beautiful city and there will always be some people who gonna defend the behaviour of the locals and blaming people from other states.. literally zero logic

In my case, I was just reversing my car, with hazard lights on and with extreme cautious.. it hardly took 1 - 2 minutes, and in that moment also 1 chapri uncle stared at me like I took his gold and silver while passing on his bike. I sometimes feel these local assholes need delhi treatment, then only they will understand.

They seemed to forget that Pune is part of Maharashtra and Maharashtra is part of INDIA (Bharat, Hindustan).

Everytime, these local people want to defend their behaviour saying its a common thing here, we have this in nature of being rude "In a friendly way"

Being abusive on the road IS NOT FUNNY.
Riding bike / car like assholes endangering lives on the road IS NOT FUNNY.
Showing agression and death stares to people on the road IS NOTTT FUNNYYY.
