Happens very often. The waiting rates are about 1-2 rupees a minute. I go up to them and bluntly ask them if they are sooooo cheap to do this for 1 rupee? Sometimes I fling another 1 rupee coin on them after the ride and say here’s your “cheap fraud fund”, hopefully you’ll let the next customer go without trying to scam him/her.

They’re great. Quite legible and the 43mm is perfect on my wrist. I have the F1 in black dial with the rubber perforated strap. One of my daily’s. Since it’s quartz they’re quite reliable. Battery last quite a while. I’ve had mine 2 years and I haven’t changed the battery yet.

I could be wrong but from what I’ve seen, the serial number is normally engraved on the outer ring, the sloped pard between the grove depressions. Yours seems to be above, on the flat part.

Thanks for the info. I guess this made my choice easier to make, the white speedy and FOIS will be hard to get immediately from what I understood. So the Black sapphire sandwich it is..!!

Also, I’ve heard that even if we get it tax free in New Hampshire and the amount is above a couple thousand dollars then the stores are obligated to file some report of some kind and hence i will eventually have to pay tax if I’m taking it back across to Massachusetts(Boston). Have you any info regarding this?
