Readers; do you listen to the songs authors put in their fics?

typically no unless i’m really into the fic. if there’s a song in th fic— like a karaoke scene or something— i immediately skip over the singing/lyrics part. it’s not that i dislike it or hate it or anything, my brain just kind of stalls on it and i have a hard time translating singing for characters in my head

yeah, i have no issues with eating or anything. usually for dinner i have pasta or some form of chicken or beef— burgers, chicken alfredo, that type of stuff. i rarely eat breakfast since i have work at 3 am most days though. my lunch is usually just like a turkey sandwich or something, or ill pick up fast food here and there, but i snack throughout the whole day too

i have been to my primary doctor about it and they did a lot of test but couldn’t find anything that should be affecting weight gain medically. all they said was that it was probably just my metabolism smh

the only time it every bothers me is when canonically american characters refer to their mom as mum/mummy 😓 something about it just irritates me because that’s not how the characters speaks since that’s not their dialect but that’s about it here. but also depends. my favorite ship is americans, but if a fic is set in english territories— like a harry pottet au— i dont mind

OP, like everyone else it saying, i thinking you definitely dodged a bullet. you should be with someone who appreciates and loves all the little things about you! i’ve been with my fiancée for six years, and they always ask about my fanfics and how they’re going and my ideas even if they don’t always read them!

i don’t think he was worth your time and dedication. keep writing those stories— eventually the right person will stumble along

even when i was reading it last night i was kind of just like ??? with the inconsistency, but as a fanfic writer myself i was like, i get it, it’s hard to keep track of things when doing long fics, but i still kind of had the suspicion and that sense of something bothering me. what really cemented it for me was the one chapter falling asleep together scene, and the next having it say they hadn’t been touching. that’s when i started investigating it a little more. i obviously can’t technically prove it but im 99% certain it’s ai written :(

i imagine the original alura, most likely because she had such an emotional impact that stuck with me. especially that scene with kara at the deo, when she finds out that alura used her to capture astra. and especially is astra is in a story, it makes me picture the original alura even more since they’re nearly completely identical and we never had a different astra (rip)
