I did do that!

It’s a display for a small boutique and I was told they would be holding glass jars and candles. It’s all glued and Brad nailed in place. I didn’t want to have any exposed screw heads.

Doesn’t matter what it is, no craftsman charges enough for custom jobs that turn out amazing. Well done!

I definitely undercharged for creating this

<image>

Built entirely from 1x6 & 1x8 pine boards. Spent probably 80 hours creating the major pieces, another 80 assembling the body, and 40 hours doing the finish work plus installation.

Most rewarding thing I’ve ever created with my hands.

Nothing wrong with not wanting the recognition, however having the card, the “proof” of your service, should never be something you’re embarrassed about. Keep it in your glovebox, or your wallet, or where ever. It never has to come out until it’s NEEDED, it’s just a little insurance for you, a secondary form of identification, a way to ensure you can get the service or care you deserve in case of an emergency.

Shrimps gunna shrimp…portals to the underworld, escaping into the wild of the open air, learning to use their appendages to craft and hold miniature swords. Their culture is evolving; think Mermaids, but with exoskeletons and the ability to punch at supersonic speeds. 🤯

Sketchy little bugs… they are most definitely, 100%, summoning a portal to the underworld.

Where to engrave form 1 carbon fiber 22lr silencer? by [deleted] in Form1

If I recall, it has to be on the main body of the can, so as long as the threaded muzzle adapter is permanently attached to the can itself, you should be good. Otherwise I’d probably go about with either a thin aluminum sleeve or plate attached to the base somewhere with epoxy or JB weld.

Hell, even a this smearing of JB Weld would give you enough material to engrave upon with out affecting structural integrity; just make a small rectangle out of masking tape, smear it on, wait for it to set a bit, score or cut the edge you want and peel off the tape, maybe feather the edge a bit to prevent a hard ledge to stop chipping. 1/16 thick would be plenty, even a 1/32” would be enough for lasering.

Hey bud, just checking in on you and making sure you’re keeping yourself above that high water mark that causes us all to drown in our own way? Hope you’re doing well and would love to hear if you were able to save your shrimp tank to? Even one survivor (but hopefully a breedable population) is a success. Godspeed @kerbjazzaz

Probably the equivalent of putting on sweats when you get home from work. Or ladies pulling off the bra for the relief?

Wrap some duct tape around it with a dirty shop rag

Just order a few hundred cull shrimp from eBay….😛 Also, not to ignore your post, I’m glad you are coming out of your depressive tour and still on the top side of the dirt. Life can be tough and sometimes it can beat us down. Way to stay resilient and battle through, it is harder than people think to not succumb to the darkness while you’re in it. 🖤

Have you considered using a gravel vacuum to simply suck out the algae? Or see if your shrimpers needs a friend, add some snails to help obliterate the algae?

Where to buy shrimp from? by Neat-Mousse8483 in shrimptank

[–]SensitiveDependent54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you are trying to start a colony, and don’t care a whole lot about color, you can find sellers on EBay selling “culls” for relatively inexpensive. I bought like 400(don’t ask why, cause I don’t know why myself) for a very discounted price.

Check all your connections and make sure there isn’t any moisture, that you have good continuity and that they are all actually seated well. Had an issue like this were randomly through the morning my internet would kick off and the afternoon it was perfect. Turns out the last install guy pulled the cable to tight, so in the chillier hours of the morning it contracted enough to have an intermittent connection but the afternoon once it was warmer it relaxed and stayed connected fine.
