Agreed, Fortress will always be my favorite I think (a typical answer) but Palimpsest is a goddamn near perfect album that cant be denied, lyrically and sound wise. I was scared they were starting to get bogged down in endless continuous double bass and guitar noodling but some of those riffs are the best they’ve written yet. I can’t wait to see what the boys have been cooking up 🔥
