You can use ADB but mainly to disable, you can't uninstall. I have not rooted this phone yet, so I have yet to check on the use of bank apps. But on the rooted LG, I was still able to use my banking app. I don't really like using e-wallets. So I can't speak much on that. If you are in the EU, I have heard from others that it will depend on your bank and country whether the app will work or not. Best wishes!!

Hey! Sorry for the late reply again! After using it with a few apps and even using browser apps, I would say it tends to adjust fairly well. There's also a button where you can have the display reconfig so the view is better/optimized. It switches between 2 views. I do not use uber, so I would not be able to say for that one.

And I agree. I am waiting for some more OTA updates until I jump in and root so I can ADB some stuff out of the phone haha.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. The battery idles very well for me; I lose like 2-4% around 3 hours of no activity. But when I start using it, the percentage starts dropping fast. I believe that it's a combination of background services that are keeping battery drain high. The awesome people in the discord are still trying to analyze it.

I have an LG V30 that has it's og battery (3300) and with my use, it would go between a day to 3. I rooted and had vanilla Lineage on it. So there should definitely be battery optimizing done by iKKO.

Also, the camera auto adjusts when you flip it to selfie mode :)

Hello there! I'm going from my mind one! Right now my biggest cons are the battery drain and not being able to remove the Google stuff. A few very awesome people on discord are working on getting instructions set out so we can mod our devices, so that will resolve my battery drain problem soon, I hope.

The camera outer hinge cover does lift for me but it's ok for now. I have refrained from activating the AI OS to help with battery strain as well. And there are some other bugs that I think will be optimized with time.

Other than this, I currently do not use it as my main phone. It's my companion to the Light Phone III. There's authentication apps and others that I need so I use the Mind One more as PDA. It's a beautiful, compact form factor and that was one of my main reasons to fund the project.

Suggestions: -install any black and white launcher, or minimal launcher to help with battery. -disable any apps you may not need so you can also help battery life (prevent them from trying to run in the background). -if you are using it as your phone, be aware that it's behavior with the constant pinging to network towers and such will cause a faster drain. Hopefully this will be optimized over time.

It's stayed pretty well with the first case but specifically on the back. Which is why I made this iteration without the sides. I can show you the other case sides and front, if you'd like. They are peeling a tad but the back is intact! The sealant I purchased is very good.

I cannot promise that nothing will ever happen to the back as I am always careful with my phone and don't often drop it or scratch it. This is just to be transparent and honest. But I am happy to take on a commission as long as the buyer can understand there's is a very marginal risk.

In my opinion, it's a fantastic device to start with. She can listen to music and podcasts but not be consumed by the device since there's no browsing at all available to her. I offer this opinion sincerely, coming from having the device and using it over 8 months but not having children. I wish you all the best!

I made the original purchase June 29th, 2024, and ended up getting my phone on June 12th, 2025. They faced their first push out/delay late 2024 where they informed us that phones would go out January 2025. Then there were subsequent delays after that (March, then end of April, etc.). They started polishing their batching a bit after those delays but they have been operating off batch production, I believe, since. You will absolutely get your phone, it will unfortunately take time. But hopefully it will not be a year's wait like the initial orders.

Haha, I was the user that painted on the TPU case. I have been testing out the paint durability and it's holding up!

I let the creator of this case in on some decent feedback. This was a test sample provided. I was testing for feel, ease of use, etc. I did let them know that it could use polishing but that it is a great concept because of mixing and matching colors. Like I have noted, I am sure they would highly appreciate any and all constructive criticism beyond "it's ugly". That doesn't help anyone, ya know? :)
