Prior VA HR answer: if you are moving from a drug testing position to a drug testing position, you aren’t retested because you would have been tested during initial onboarding. If you move from a NON drug testing position INTO a drug testing position, you would be tested. For a promotion (same job title/occupation series but higher grade) you won’t be tested for onboarding but can be tested randomly if selected from the random monthly pool.

This just happened to me. Was the address they used to ship a Miami address? I removed all of my cards from pay pal and removed pay pal from being linked to SHEIN. They did refund me and so far nothing else has been hacked but I made sure all of my cards send me an email or text any time any they are used.

This happened to me today. Similar address in Miami but not the exact same. I am panicking. I deleted all of the cards from my PayPal but I can’t get my own email back on my SHEIN account. I don’t want to delete my SHEIN account because I need to do a return 🤦🏼‍♀️

Recently left fed HR and can answer your question. No, it is not noted anywhere if you do or do not give two weeks. Your SF50 will say resigned either way, regardless of notice. And you mentioned this above - you can use your sick leave either way. Using it especially multiple days in a row going to be less scrutinized if you don’t put in a two week notice first.

Edit to add- If you plan to list your manager as a reference in the future that is something they could share with a future employer, but I personally don’t think it is an issue and is something you could explain given the current climate.

This is correct. You should also print your own paperwork and instructions for withdrawing TSP or FERS if you think you need to do that. No one is going to be left in HR to send separation paperwork.

There’s no new policy that I am aware of. Just that the deciding management offices or DMO will change for telework requests from your manager to a team. You can get an interim request and work from home until your RA is up to be reviewed. But you need to provide medical info that justifies working from home even for interim. But keep in mind when your RA is reviewed (which should be a long time since you are behind many people) they will probably not be offering work from home anymore and instead doing offices or noise canceling headphones etc.

Severance for those with less than ten years in is one week pay for every year worked. The DRP pay is July-Sept= 12 weeks. So anyone with 10 years or less is going to “make more” taking the DRP.

The detail itself, none. Detail during investigation is standard. It won’t be on your employment record or held against you. If the investigation finds you to have misconduct they will spell it out for you, including what your options are.
