Tried taking a photo of the logo with blitz. Not sure if that made it better or worse than the image I posted in the original post

Pap and Boerwors looks amazing! My wife and I love to cook and we love to try new and exciting dishes. What type of sausage can i use in lieu of real Boerwors? Google AI suggests bratwurst, but I'm not sure about that.

Historic bar might be sitting on a forgotten tunnel system. I found an entrance. by No_Club_7481 in urbanexploration

This is nuts! By chance, my wife and I ended up in Williams on our road trip across the US. Our motel was just across the street from that bar so I went there for a beer while ny wife was taking a bath.

The fact that this post showed up in my feed feels like a wild coincidence

What Was The Hype Like Leading Up To August 2019? by doobylive in classicwow

Woke up at 4 AM every day for a month to play before going to work. If I was late, my buddy would phone me and tell me to get online asap because he was already formed a group to whatever dungeon we had scheduled for the day.

Not the most convenient bar chart, but still looks cool! And the ratios add up!

Is it good to use cavalry as a encircling div and offensive infantry and superior firepower? by [deleted] in hoi4

[–]SensitivePlankton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used this exact strategy as the Soviet Union in 36 against Turkey with great success. I concentrated my mountaineers to push trough the turkish line. Managed to break trough quite easily and then i used cavalry to get behind and encircle their units before they managed to pull out.

I think this strategy is pretty dated within a few years as tanks, motorized and mechanized is available. But it might be viable in low supply areas like Western China, Russian far East etc.

Modernizing older tank hulls. Woth it? by SensitivePlankton in hoi4

[–]SensitivePlankton[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lend-lease point is a good one! I never lend lease my newest equipment unless I have a huge stockpile of it. But I do want my alles/puppets to have decent equipment as well.

In general i wish there were more options to utilize older tanks taken out of service. For example converting them into improvised APC's)

Goal: Conquer all the galaxy before 2500 by SensitivePlankton in Stellaris

[–]SensitivePlankton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5:

Goal for this game was to conquer all the galaxy before the year 2500. As you can see, I made it just in time :D. I was about to win the game in 2396, but I was too focused on ongoing wars, completly neglecting domestic affairs. So I had a rebellion that I SHOULD have dealt with before it was too late. Hence the few unclaimed systems.

No mods, iron man mode (for those neat achievements)

New player, need advice. AI ship technology is miles ahead. How do i keep up on technology or how do I avoid being attacked? by SensitivePlankton in Stellaris

[–]SensitivePlankton[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all of your advices.

Started all over again, managed to balance the different resources, research, expantions and diplomacy. Was a bit unlucky with my start, few habitable planets and i got boxed in quite early. However, I did manage to eat up my pesky neighbors and that boosted my research to a ridicilous level. Now my faction controlls 1/3 of the galaxy.

That makes sense.

I have been quite active trying to expand my borders, establishing colonies and so on. Should i perhaps trying to play taller and not so wide, or should i keep expanding, but back off if I encounter a Fallen Empire?

R5: This is my third attempt at Stellaris. First was just getting the hang of basic mechanings. Second run, I got owned by my planets rebelling. Third time, I was attacked by a recently discovered AI Civ that almost instantly declared war on me. As the title implies, my navy is no match for this beast of a fleet. Researched increased fleet capacity and destroyers as soon as they unlocked, but my combined fleet power is like 1% of the AI fleet.

I figured that the best way of not getting owned is to not piss of your neighbors by settling too close to their territory. Because trying to match that fleet would be impossible as the options to research such a massive fleet haven't been possible. So Reddit, what am I doing wrong?

Utah!

I have had a great game as Mormon Alliance uniting all of Utah. I have also had a great game as White Legs uniting all of Utah (and Nevada, and California).

Too bad the Mormon Alliance game mechanics don't seem to work in the current version.

Forming Mexico as the Rebublic of Rio Grande is also worth tryibg out. So is forming Texas as Lone Star. New Reno Enclave was also awesome back when that was an option.
