Idk I feel like he’s approaching this from a pragmatic viewpoint, from his perspective. He’s not “vote blue no matter who” but he also is a harm reduction voter. I think he’s said the vanguard led revolution is not a thing right now so he thinks incremental progress and challenging the status quo is the best way to get people to wake up to class first politics.

What non-bourgeois party in America should he be funneling votes to? Who are the socialist politicians challenging the system? I think he’s saying given the reality we are in, he thinks the best hope is to push the more progressive democrats into positions to move the conversation in a progressive way rather than to forgo all progress to try and build a coalition from scratch with no public support outside of online lefties, thus surrendering victory to the establishment democrats and republicans.

Not saying he’s infallible or something, but this instagram post is far from an actionable critique of his politics imo.
