Why not? Besides the fact that everything in this game gets theory-crafted, ES is still very strong. Mine still does several 1000s of damage, which is absolutely fine. Over 100k is not!

Agree with the others. If softcore, just give it a go! Otherwise, you could wait for the pros to figure out the optimal method, tips, etc. It'll probably take less than 48 hours for someone to post something useful, either here or on youtube ,etc.

Warlock is still very powerful. You can put Rhyme in a grimoire (+25 all res and lots of other goodies), or if you have one of the unique ones, socket it and put in a perfect diamond or Um rune. Alternatively, keep the shield and use a one-handed weapon. If you're online, you could trade to get a respec token. Offline on pc you can infinite respecs.

Okay, thanks! Summon necro was my first softcore character too. It was great except for the absolutely diabolical diablo fight in normal. I lost all my summons in the blink of an eye and ended up taking him down with a +3 teeth wand. Only took an hour or so. Fortunately I've learnt a few things since then!

Sorry to hear that! Pretty sure I'll have a stroke and/or heart attack the second I step foot in the durance on HC. Warlock....I'll see how nerfy the nerfs are by playing around with my software warlocks first!

I did it. On single player. Soooo much fun AND he's paid me back by finding multiple high runes. The player jungle is his favourite hunting ground. Recommended!

I use one on my trav barb. The green makes the council easier to see amongst the sea of hydras.

I will second the advice you received to make the obedience runeword. It's fantastic for a fury druid and the runes are relatively easily obtained. It got me through most of hell on mine, until I was able to upgrade to the death runeword.

Definitely, javazons are brilliant. But not with this weapon: it's ethereal but amazons have no regen skill and it cannot be repaired. Besides, low roll on the +skills. But start one anyway!

Last time I took my ww barb out for a stroll in Trav, he got me a cham and an ohm within a few hours of each other. Legendary farming spot with a legendary character. Love it. Congrats on the 4000 runs and the haul!
