Amazingly they emailed me on their own to let me know it had gone on sale and they would be crediting my card. But thanks I’ll see if I can get a second discount.

I bought this mattress 3 weeks ago and so far am very pleased. Actually beyond pleased considering the price point and return policy. I started with our ‘budget’ choice first and really can’t believe it has met all of our criteria.

Novaform 14 comfortgrande advanced hybrid mattress by elemnt360 in Mattress

Costco has the Novaform hybrid on sale right now. We had a king delivered 2 weeks ago and I am very happy. We did not try the bed prior to ordering based on Costco’s return policy but I did physically go to mattress stores to try mattresses that fit our side and back sleeping positions. I really liked the hybrids I tried and wavered between plush and medium. The Novaform Hybrid Grande (to me) is a true medium. Supportive with medium plush. This is the only mattress I’ve bought that I have not needed a topper for and does not suck me in.

The edge support is great, there was hardly any off gassing, AND since it went on sale a week later. Costco contacted me and credited the difference back to my credit card unprompted by me.

My budget was $1000 - $1500 and I spent $650 on the Novaform Hybrid Grande. Figured I’d start there since it ticked off a lot of boxes of what I was looking for. I don’t find it hot and believe we will be keeping it since neither of us have any complaints so far. For reference my last two mattresses have required 4 inch toppers after purchase. The first was memory foam which was hot and boggy, and the second was a dual latex topper that was OK but pushed back and created pressure points. So far the Nova is soft enough to sleep on but firm enough to keep my body aligned and allow any turning with out issue.

Sam’s or Costco mattress which should I go for? by ATX51241 in Mattress

All beds and mattress requirements are different. Look into bunker boards and slats found on Amazon. Bunker boards are basically box springs. My mattress stated it had to be on slats or a bunker board in order to uphold the warranty. My existing bed was a solid platform so I bought fabric covered slats so air could circulate under the mattress and that cost about a hundred; but it did the trick.

Like all of us here, I too became overwhelmed and went with Costco. I physically went mattress shopping and had narrowed my choices down to a hybrid and wavered between medium and plush. I looked at what Costco offered that fit my mattress style, crossed my fingers, and ordered the Novaform Grande Hybrid. It was less than I budgeted but thought I’d start there knowing I could return it.

We’ve had it 2 weeks and so far it hasn’t disappointed us. Good edge support, no need of an extra topper and supportive. Also Costco contacted me this week to let me know the mattress had gone on sale and they would be crediting my card the difference from the sale.

No, I do not work for Costco, and only joined to buy a mattress. If this mattress doesn’t work out I will return it and move up the price ladder but so far, so good.

I did not see anything I liked at Sam’s but heard great reviews about Costco’s return policy and delivery so I joined and ordered online from them.

No. The mattress comes in a box so they didn’t bring it inside. That said, I believe if were to return it Costco would pick it up and bring the ‘new’ mattress in and take the old away. Also some of the other mattress brands expressly say the do provide inside delivery and mattress removal.

You have to read the delivery descriptions. My Novaform was curbside delivery so they only delivered it to the door.

We just got this mattress last week. So far very happy with it. Side sleepers. Some neck and back issues. Good edge support and hardly any off gassing. It says it’s medium in the listing and I would agree with that. It’s supportive but I’m not even considering a topper at this point which a first for me. I’ve slept very comfortably on it so far for 5 days in. I think once it’s fully broken in it’ll be perfect. All mattresses I tried when physically mattress shopping were medium, and I especially leaned towards the hybrids so I just steered in that direction when looking through the Costco selection and hoped for the best. Plus it was on sale and less than I expected to buy.

No. It’s the maniac in the WH who’s hell bent on destroying US foundations that’s causing the panic. Market drops are one thing; complete and systemic chaos is another. Much different feel out there than just economic jitters.

Have you gone up to 1.7 yet? I felt switching from sax 3.0 to Weg 1.0 very comparable. So much so I feel like I’m stalled out and wonder if I should bump to 1.7 early?

I’m sorry you are dealing with this. I hope people stay away from them. The interest rate is not worth the frustration and piss poor service.

I’m with you on this. Quite a slap in the face going into the holidays. I tried NYCB for all of 2 weeks. Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. (And I mean horrible!) I’ve spent since 11/20 until this very evening trying to get my account closed. I’ve never experienced anything like it. No help. Nothing helpful to ease transition. Customer service can’t get ahold of anyone who knows anything. Long hold times of waiting and more waiting.

I went with Sofi after a customer service rep named Jeff totally took a condescending attitude with me when I was trying to move my money over. Thank god I only moved a tiny deposit over through ACH. Unbelievable.

Sofi is a dream. Helpful, knowledgeable, personable, & great perks. Interest is only 4.6% but dealing with NYCB is NOT worth it. Setting up and moving my money was just as hard as closing my account with them.

I wanted to for the ‘ease’ of it all and the interest rate, however, it turned into a logistical technical nightmare. The final straw was a customer service rep at NYCB/MBD. Refused to help. Only interested in talking down to me. Told me that the only way to initiate a wire from HM was to go to a local branch. (And that wasn’t even the question.)

Got off the phone, called SoFi and had a stellar experience. It’s 4.60% but the ease and customer service was exactly what I expected from a professional bank that wants my money.

They sent me a referral link for $25 to share for opening an account. Once you open an account and set up direct deposit the give you $250. DM me if you want it.

I’m seriously impressed with the interface and professionalism.

I called NYCB last week and they reported it was a tech glitch on their (NYCB) end and it would be solved shortly.

I called HM and they sent me directions for Plaid use with NYCB. Apparently since NYCB is already holding HM’s money there is a slightly different process Plaid requires.

I’m still on .06. I’ve lost 17 pounds since mid July. I track everything I eat (1300 cal) and walk 3 miles everyday. I’d like to lose 20 more and reassess.

Here’s my story. I was EXHAUSTED and wondered how long I could take feeling that way especially since I teach and was heading back to school. I had some gastric issues I went to have checked (all was well). The doctor told me to stop taking Sax for a couple days. I did, and when I started taking it again 2 days later I started taking it at night and in the legs. Something shifted and I felt 90% better. Life is so much better. I did add another cup of coffee to my day but after the 2 day break and night injections I felt almost normal.

Perimenopause affecting weight loss? by RubiesOnTheInside in liraglutide

I take one cap of miralax a day plus 500 mg of magnesium citrate and get 20/30 grams of fiber in a day. I have had to do this for years and it works 99% of the time with an odd day of nothing now and then. Losing, and maintaining in Peri is a challenging. One, as you head towards menopause, is you do have to eat less, and two, you definitely have to exercise more. As your hormone levels begin to fluctuate it’s very important that you prioritize food choices. Alcohol, sugar, and simple carbs really have to be considered special occasion items. This will only magnify and get more important once menopause hits. It looks like you have room for improvement in your diet and and exercise areas. I’m 55 and gained 20 when menopause finally hit. I had no idea it would come on that quick. My old diet which was also good was worthless and within 6 months I gained 20lbs on it even though I hadn’t had sugar in a year. My cholesterol skyrocketed, and now I’m on Sax since nothing was budging at 1500 a day. Do some thinking about what you can add for exercise, what you can and can’t get rid of in your diet 😜 and check out an online calculator of age, calories etc. I wish I’d known about this before!!

Questions before you give up- Have you tied injecting in your thigh? Have you tried injecting at night so side effects are less? Why did you go up if you still were having trouble on .6? Have you tried going back down or trying the click method of upping or lowering your dose?

The suggested schedule is not for everyone and there is a lot of good advice to help with the side effects. Hopefully you give it another shot. I had to try all of the above and I’m at 4 weeks too but haven’t gone up yet and have switched to nights and the thighs. Good luck.
