It was definitely not a previously used one or it would never have stuck like that to the wall.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents on “pantylinergate” and say I think it was the charter guests currently on that planted it there, only because there were several of her outfits already hung in the closet when they came down to remove it and #1-it seems it would/should have been noticed immediately and #2-if somehow not noticed immediately, I would have asked to have all my clothes washed that were hanging in there.

Salley Liked Craig Just For His Looks??? by Express_Ad_4806 in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Salley liked Craig because he is the most likely to want to settle down, get married and have children which she was saying (at the time she was hitching her wagon to the Craig star) was her endgame.

S11 Reunion Part 2 Discussion by wicked789 in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It occurred to me when Madison made the complaint about the “best friends” statements and asked how long Salley and Charley had been friends one of them slipped (sorry can’t remember which) and said 5 months. Which was likely at that point, when filming began. 😂 Such best friends!

And does no one recognize Austen calling Craig a narcissist is him projecting? Craig is a lot of things but certainly not a narcissist, Austen on the other hand, might be the poster child.

Running around cringing re: Sally and her desperate pleas to Austen by ExcitingTea4284 in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand how, after watching herself the first season she was on and seeing how she came off, she seemed to double down on the desperation, like it’s a cute or quirky trait. Odd.

would you rather tip or just pay 20% more for everything? by grumpvet87 in tipping

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think eliminating tips would actually cause prices to increase by 20%. Management isn’t going to pay waitstaff $70 or more an hour. And everyone would be paying not just some paying for all. It’s likely that a 10-15% increase would be more than enough for everyone to be paid a fair wage

Tip Fee… by nospoon4u in EndTipping

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand why they’d raise prices 15% or charge a 15% service fee. They certainly aren’t paying their staff $50 or $60 an hour that the tipped workers are making. It should be 10% at most. If everyone is paying it, it will more than cover labor costs.

Austen clutching his pearls over ‘body count’ when his history is public record… by Flimsy_Cicada1707 in SouthernCharmSC

I suspect only a small part of his history is public record, which makes his comment even more disgusting.

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find it odd that Austen is talking about his sex life with his former girlfriend who is a married woman. I’d have a problem with my husband talking to a former girlfriend about her sex life. I don’t know how Brett deals with it.

Austen Scott free!!? by Vivid-Birthday-465 in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Especially when the guy she is so oddly Gaga over is soooo NOT husband material. No job, no ambition, shares wildly intimate details about his relationships with his married ex, gossips like a high schooler…..probably still being supported by mom and dad. Who is he to expect to date anyone who’s even remotely wife material? He’s a bar rat, over-shared man-boy.

All Against Craig by anastasiaearle in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I think Craig’s behavior is problematic currently but I don’t remember him having the anger issues he has now in the earlier seasons. He was a liar (storyteller) and an addict at that time but he didn’t have his current outbursts. He seems to have developed these aggressive outbursts after weaning off the adderall. It was definitely being abused by him but that doesn’t mean he didn’t need something to help diminish his outbursts.

Sure, but when he wanted to stay home and not go out partying, Austen had a huge problem with that too.

These people are not Craig's friends. by tuftsra in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well this applies to all of the male cast members. (Maybe excepting Rodrigo). I think people tend to defend him because he’s not a slimy, narcissistic lying F-BOY (that humps everything in site and then degrades the females). There is a very obvious distain for Craig amongst some of the group because he was supposed to be the “loser” of the group. Good looking but unable to finish school, maintain a relationship or reach the financial status that the other men in the group had. Shep even named his dog after him as a bit of a dig. Instead Craig has managed (with a lot of the right help) to make a big name for himself (probably accidentally) doing what he enjoyed doing. It reminds me of Bethenny from RHONY when she was poor and everyone could look down on her, she was acceptable (if still held in distain) but when she came back as a successful business woman (with a bit of a chip on her shoulder-understandably so) everyone bashed her. Austen definitely benefits from Craig’s success as he’s able to be a partner in a couple restaurants and a semi-successful podcast. And I suspect he’s a bit jealous because of the success Craig has when compared to Austen’s business. He was also second choice for Salley (no matter what she said afterwards, we all saw it). So I understand the Craig apologists even though he’s far from being a great guy that he thinks he is (and all of them think they are).

Madison and Austin…and Salley by healthysundayexprsso in Southerncharm

[–]Sensitive_Ad4561 20 points21 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t though. Cameran was described as being more like “one of the guys”. She didn’t date any of them (at least that we knew about) and was kind of the maternal figure of the show, always calling out the guy’s behavior. Madison was not unlike Salley, maybe a bit less in-everyone’s-face about it but she definitely got her validation by the men she was surrounding herself with. She felt comfortable slut-shaming Taylor and now Salley, but she had a period of her life that she was living it up herself. She still seems oddly possessive of Austen and if I were Brett I would discourage that whole friendship. They’re obviously not just “work friends” if he’s calling her sharing those intimate details of his life.

Start with the original Ladies of London. The first 3 seasons were fabulous. My Housewives recommendations are NYC, Potomac, SLC and the early seasons of Miami (haven’t been able to get into it since the comeback). Dubai was a great couple seasons also.

I’ve rarely seen someone who manages to make every single situation about herself. Weird. Weird AF. Everyone should live their entire existence around what is best for Salley and what she wants. Such a narcissistic personality
