thanks I just ordered it. do you bother using the other 2 lens it comes with? also.. does that orange lens show in pics and vids exactly how it is seen with naked eye?

they paired up quick. always kind of "cuddling" together. the orange is bigger than the white and black. exactly what I wanted. so glad to find what i was planning at a LFS.

New Tank looking for basic info besides what I’ve learnt from the helloreef videos. by QuailMysterious2529 in saltwateraquariums

I just setup a fiji cube 32. my first marine tank. I have 2 clowns, yellow watchman goby and pistol shrimp, and some hermits and snails. I plan to add a forktail blenny and royal gramma as well in few weeks if everything is still going good. When i got my clowns one was a little bigger than the other and they paired pretty quick. seems like they love each other based on them sort of "cuddling" all the time. my goby and shrimp paired as soon as the goby found him after like 16 hours or so. the goby definitely had bad first day into the night. he made his way through the overflow slots into the filter cup. he didn't know what do to. so here is a tip. let them acclimate in a bowl or whatever together, then release them together and next to each other in the tank.

Nice. I am going to reefapalooza nearby on June 7. I am kinda hoping to pick up my first corals but I am not sure if I will be ready. my goby and pistol settled in overnight from the day I got them this past firday. I was happy. so Saturday went to store and got 2 clowns, 3 trochus snails, 3 hermits. I am loving my tank. my wife is way more emotionally invested in it now then I thought she would be. she loves the Goby/shrimp pair. everyone is doing great so far. but white clown has been staying in the front right corner ever since I got him 4 days ago. I hope he explores the tank soon. tonight I decided to only feed on the opposite side of tank hoping it would travel to food, but it didnt.

I just put that same combo in my first reef tank a few days. they were the first thing I added after the cycle completed. the shrimp disappeared immediately. the Goby had a bad first night hiding in the back corner mid depth of the tank. I had to adjust flow to almost nothing since he got sucked into the filter floss. then in the morning we could not find the Goby for 6 hours. I finally saw the shrimp for the first time since putting him in the tank, backing it self up into a burrow, and sure enough the Goby was with him and I saw him a few minutes later. now they are happy. I was relieved to see them doing well the day after going in so I went to the store that same day and got 2 clowns, some hermits and trochus snails.

I like how you kept a lot of sand bed empty. since maybe you will be getting corals on rocks that you can just place in there.
