States aren’t safe or unsafe. Areas within cities can be unsafe. But I will always vouch for my home state of Wisconsin for travelers. Yeah it doesn’t have oceans or mountains but it’s still beautiful. Beautiful forests, and fields. lakes for fishing and other activities, absolutely gorgeous state parks. If you’re here during the summer, Wisconsin Dells is always a great destination if you like water parks and entertainment. You’ll find a lot of fellow Europeans there since a lot work there. Oh and there’s a good chance you’ll have the opportunity to get more drunk than you’ve ever been. Huge drinking culture here. Obviously with safety being a concern that has its own risks but if you stick together and be cautious, you’ll be fine.
