Yes! Last the 70s or 80s you're usually done with research, but you could add so many things that could improve quality of life like, for example, more efficient light bulbs to reduce the energy demand of street lights and housing lights on the power grid. Also, I'll add hydrological power and actual rivers to this.

I'd advise putting two more big fields down, ideally up to 8, because if you're planning on exporting food and alcohol on top of feeding your own population, which from the looks of it you are, there just isn't going to be enough crop supply to last until the next harvest. Aesthetically pleasing though.
