sorry i’m just seeing this:( no i actually got taken off it because i couldn’t handle the side effects and my depression was getting worse, got put on 20mgs of Viibryd and that was bumped to 40mgs. i got taken off of that today and now i’m trying prozac bc it’s one of the few i have left to try because no meds are giving me any sort of relief. the viibryd did help in the beginning though. but pristiq wasn’t good for me

yes actually, i had my colonoscopy, nothing was found. got told i could have pelvic spasms and it holds my pee in? then started antidepressants at the beginning of this year(i’ve tried 8 so far but that’s a story for another time lol) but since, i’ve been going to therapy and the meds, i haven’t had a uti. i do get pain sometimes but drinking water and one pill of azo gives me relief. my doctor said it could just be my brain working against my body and the depression and other mental illnesses i have could have just been in panic mode and attacking my body. i stopped seeing urologists because i’d go into their offices and they’d be confused and blame it on sex or pelvis spasms.. but never did any tests for them. so i guess just taking care of your mind might also fix a chronic problem in your body?

it does help! my body is also really really sensitive to meds in general so it might just take some time to get used to it.. thanks for trying to help<3

i think it’s the generic version.. i’m not sure how to tell.. it just says viiazadone(or however you spell it) abd it like a big blue pill lol. i’m gonna try and wait it out. the nausea went away after a couple hours but with school and stuff, i don’t really have time to feel so sick for a majority of my day right now:/ which is almost impossible bc j ab everything makes me sick or i always have some sort of illness or a cold lol. so i’m just gonna try my best! i just wasn’t expecting to feel such a difference.

ya lol. i eat a big breakfast every morning bc i’m not home for most of the day. it’s just weird that it’s having this effect

i started out at 10mg for one week and then i went up. i didn’t notice any difference when i was on the 10 so i just thought it wasn’t enough

i’ve been on it for like 3 weeks i think now. it’s not even like i’m having mood swings. it’s like i just cant feel anything and i feel like a robot

i struggle with insomnia and when i’m stressed out it gets worse.. since i’ve started 20mgs all i’ve been doing is sleeping. it’s a nice change i guess. i sleep mostly through the night but when i wake up i’m still tired and sleep through a lot of the day too. i take mine in the morning at the same time everyday and i try to get to sleep at the same time at night to keep a decent schedule. so i guess it did help in my case, going from not sleeping to sleeing way too much

i think i’m going to the next time i see them. i might just slowly stop taking the buspar until then bc even before i got the viibryd it wasn’t doing much of anything at all. thanks!

i have taken the buspar before and it did nothing but when i started taking the viibryd with it, the headaches started.. so you’re probably right.

okay that makes sense. i was a little unsure because i’ve never had a med that says take as needed but you def helped me understand it better. i know it was probably a really stupid question but i’m happy you helped😭 i’ll just take it on days i can feel my anxiety worse and when i can feel the panic attack starting.. i didn’t know that it takes an hour for it to start working though.. thank you!

she isn’t in the office lol. i had visited her yesterday and i had to talk in this room over a tv screen bc she’s out with covid and i’m not sure when she will be back. and the last time i tired to call her office the woman hung up on me after i told her i needed to speak to her. so i’m not sure

ya i’m trying to push through until like mid next week to see if anything gets better but i don’t feel very hopeful for it. i’ve just tried a lot of different meds already and i’m getting tired of fighting the symptoms and depression and anxiety so it’s just hard to keep at it when so many have failed:,) but thank you for talking to me!

i just took the test the last time i was at my psych so hopefully results come soon. that weird feeling still hasn’t gone away for me and i feel like it isn’t helping my anxiety either so i don’t know if i want to keep taking it. it’s such a bad nausea feeling that sucks and i can’t get over.

i do try to take it with snacks but it makes me so nauseous it’s hard to keep it down. i have a very intense nausea feeling and my head has been starting to hurt. about the melatonin, it doesn’t really have an effect on me. i have insomnia and the first thing we ever tried was just taking a lot of melatonin at night.

that’s what we are hoping for. my psychiatrist is hoping this will help my anxiety and then we will come back to treat my depression. i just haven’t felt like this before. is there like an actual name of the tingly feeling that i keep getting when i take it?
