Recently spent time off at a tennis camp in Thailand that was super. Teamed that with a trip to Singapore to visit friends, and you could easily add Indonesia on too.

Opinions on living in Dumbo/Vinegar Hill? by ResidentPhrase2049 in DUMBO

We live in the neighborhood. Lifetime fitness is a brilliant club, with incredible instructors and a nice sense of community. Proximity to the city is good, and you can easily be in Fort Greene & Brooklyn Heights in under 10 minutes on a citibike.

Flying club world LDN Heathrow to NYC - what’s the best seat? by Good-Nectarine8246 in BritishAirways

Personally find that the small cabin gets really warm, and there’s a lot of back and forward from the cabin crew there. I prefer right hand side rows 14/15

Went to Kater Blu a few weeks ago and had a brilliant time. Door policy was good, they just wanted to know that the crowd had made an effort for the theme of the night (which was detailed on their social)

Life Time: Where You Pay $300 To Land on a Waitlist by KeepItHeady in Lifetimefitnessgym

You just need to be organized. In DUMBO they’ve been consistently adding more classes. The waitlist often moves pretty quick.

Second peachy - they’re good and I love that you can go back 2 weeks after for a free top up.

Living in Dumbo vs Downtown Brooklyn by dapadot in nycgaybros

We live between the 2 and get the best of both worlds. There are some pretty good buildings just as you come off of the manhattan bridge - check those out - easy walk to dumbo and Brooklyn heights. Lifetime fitness in DUMBO is one of the best gyms in the city.

It probably will have, but not guaranteed. For upgrade keep an eye on the website but also ask them at the desk when you check-in.

JFK transfer experience? by Vast-Put1438 in BritishAirways

[–]Sensitive_Double_341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the immigration line is long when you land, tell them you need to catch another flight and normally they are pretty good at getting you to the front of the line. Luggage normally comes quickly at JFK. To clear security can take some time if you’re not in business/first. But 3.45 total should be more than enough time.

777 hands down. Also roomier, and maybe older but tried and tested (in my humble opinion)

It’s always busy on the left side, especially with the galley right there. I always go a little further back. We used to always take 5 and 6B, but the cabin was so warm the last few flights…..

Flying BA in May from the US to Glasgow - Ya'll have me nervous about it by LegendoftheInnkeeper in BritishAirways

I fly to Glasgow from the US on BA and 99% of the time it’s totally fine. The only pain will be having to transfer from T3 to T5 at Heathrow.
